It's been a couple of days since the trade deal with Hilltop. Isabelle is fully recovered. I have never been more thankful my girls have at least some wolf bloods in them. She was able to heal faster thanks to her blood and Alec and I taking her pain. Judith is almost a year old, and I have finished my first trimester.
The good thing is, I can still move and see my feet. Bad thing is, everyone, especially Rick and the kids are super protective. Right now, I stood outside with Athena as we practiced her shooting with a bow.
As I was shooting the bow, I heard it.
Denise
"Denise!" I screamed, covering Athena's ears.
I saw Rick and the kids run towards me. Denise is dead. My student is dead.
"Stella." I heard Rick call.
"Denise is dead." I told him. "Who did she go out with?" I asked.
"Daryl and Rosita." He told me.
"I need to get to the infirmary." I told him.
He nodded and when I got there, Rick left. Soon he returned with the others. Eugene was hurt. I dressed his wound. Thankfully, the bullet just grazed him.
"The medicine will keep him from getting an infection, without it, he would have died." I said.
"Denise did that. She grabbed the medicine." Rosita told me.
"I sensed her death." I told her.
"What happened out there?" Rick asked.
"It was this I guy I met, back when I was herding the walkers away from here. I should have killed him, but I kept him alive. He was with five other people out there. He shot Denise and would have killed us, but Abraham got us out." Daryl explained.
Rick nodded.
"I'm glad you all are okay." I told them.
Rick and I left, leaving Eugene to rest. After a long day, we went to sleep.
"Mm." I said, feeling the kisses on my shoulder.
"Morning, my love." Rick whispered, before kissing my ear.
"Morning, mi vaquero." I kissed him.
We got up and took a shower, which lead to us doing more. Once we got out, I forced him to help me make breakfast. He knows not to make me mad.
"Mom! Dad!" The boys yelled coming down the stairs.
We laughed at them. They kissed me on the cheek, sitting down at the table. Athena and Isabelle came down, with Judith. Together we ate around the table. After breakfast, we all left. Carl went to spend time with Enid, Isabelle and Athena went outside with Alexander, practicing with his bow. Magnus and I, however, were training his hellhound.
"When I was younger, my aunt and uncle showed me how to do this. My aunt Lydia was able to see past the rifts between realities. All banshees can, they just need to know where to look. Hellhounds can to, but you need to make your eyes glow to see it by yourself. With the banshee's help, with her scream, it becomes visible to all supernatural. You and banshees are the only ones who can get through. With your fire, you surround your body with fire. You center the fire in your palms, your fingertips, and release it on the barrier, tearing it apart." I explained.
"Just as you can make a rift with your fire. You can even make it bigger, but no one other than banshee's and hellhounds can enter. However, you must be careful, because there could be others on the other side. Once the people on the other side can see the rift, they can force you, no matter what species, to go to the other side. You must be careful." I told him.
