"Devale what are you doing?" I asked looking around as he pulled a ring box out of his pocket.

He smiled and opened the box. Inside was a shiny, bright, diamond ring. It was the teardrop shape that I remembered telling Devale was my favorite ring shape. He remembered and that was special to me.

"I had a whole speech written about how much I love you but I think you know that already. If you don't then I have no problem reminding you everyday." He said shaking his head. "I know we've been through a lot in the past year and a half but I know that there's nobody else I want to spend my life with. You and DJ are all I need." He said getting on one knee.

I smiled as tears filled the brims of my eyes. He took the ring out the box and grabbed my hand.

"Crystal Renee Hayslett, will you marry me?" He asked.

It didn't take long for me to shoot out and answer.

"Yes yes yes!" I said grabbing his face. "Of course I'll marry you."

Devale stood up and we kissed as people around us clapped and cheered. We were in our own little bubble and could care less about the bystanders. I was just happy to have a ring on my finger.

That whole time at Disney World I was happy. I had a lot of things to be excited about. Just being able to celebrate my son was one thing but to be engaged to Devale was another thing. I didn't care about the other people who would have a problem with the news but that's why Devale and I decided to keep it ourselves. I think we made the right decision.

"He is wore out." My mom said as DJ slept peacefully in the back of the car.

"Hopefully he stays that way for the rest of the night." Devale said smirking at me.

I look at him and shake my head with a welcoming smile on my face. Him and I both know there's a 99.9% chance of us not having sex tonight just for the sake of our baby waking up.

Devale leaned over and grabbed my face and he kissed my ear before whispering something.

"If you'd learn how to be quiet we wouldn't have to worry about him waking up." Devale whispered

"I am quiet." I whispered back. "Sometimes."

"We'll see." Devale said moving his hand down to do my neck.

We interrupted by the sound of my mom clearing her throat. I turned around and laughed.

"Sorry mom."

"No you're not." She mumbled. "At least you guys aren't fighting. I'll take it I guess." She said smiling a little bit.

Devale and I looked at each other one last time before kissing again. We stayed PG-13 for the remainder of the car ride.
