In Chapter 15, titled "The Beast and Emperor's True (Identity)," Samael is flying on Keina's back, battling Aza pterodactyls and searching for Keino. They discover that the emperor's beast caused destruction in Keino's village. Determined to track down the beast, Samael equips his sword and the charisma pendant, and Keina's eyes change color. Samael clashes swords with the emperor but is interrupted by more Aza pterodactyls. He fights them off while chasing the emperor, who uses dark magic to momentarily separate Samael from Keina. Samael continues fighting the pterodactyls and pursues the emperor with Keina's help. However, during their battle, Samael loses control and falls into a white hole. In the midst of his fall, a voice speaks to him, mentioning his powers and destiny as the son of Azazel. The white hole disappears, and Samael finds himself back in the Aza world, but the emperor is nowhere to be seen. Keino appears, and Samael wonders where his foe has gone.
