In Chapter 12, titled "Sector Two," Samael encounters a mysterious scene as he walks off a platform. He finds dead Aza imperial knights and wonders if it was caused by the darkness or if he's experiencing another vision. Samael mutters about the blood, but Abbie points out that there is no blood to be seen. Confused, Samael realizes that what he saw earlier has disappeared. They decide to proceed to sector three and Abbie shows Samael the holographic map with the best route.
As they follow the directions, they enter an enemy's outpost that has been wiped out. Samael witnesses Aza imperial knights fighting black-eyed, hovering creatures from his hometown's church. He sees a lot of blood and wonders why he's the only one who can see this. Abbie remains unable to see what Samael sees. Samael questions if there are enemies in the outpost, but Abbie reassures him that there are none nearby, which is strange considering their location.
Samael's vision ends, and he sees the reality before him. They proceed to another enemy's outpost, but again, there are no enemies in sight. Samael witnesses more blood and corpses of Aza imperial knights being feasted upon by the creatures. He becomes frustrated and wonders what is happening to him. Abbie urges him to follow a voice, which Samael recognizes as the dark-hooded man's voice. He witnesses the creatures feeding off the knights' flesh.
Moving forward, Samael enters another enemy's outpost and sees blood on the walls. As he reaches the door, his vision ends, and Abbie appears behind him. Abbie informs him that they are almost at sector three. Samael enters the outpost, finding only blood and no corpses. He notices blood written on the walls and dripping from the ceiling. Abbie states that it's already too late, and Samael sees a message on the wall saying the same. Confused, Samael decides to end this nightmare before it becomes worse.
He leaves the area, goes through more doors, and heads down a hallway that leads to another doorway, ultimately reaching a round steel platform. Samael steps onto the platform, ascending to sector three. As soon as he arrives, he hears his voice, but the chapter ends with the question of what the dark-hooded man said to Samael and what awaits him inside sector three.
