In Chapter 6, Samael and Keino venture into Aza Pterodactyl's Cave. They encounter Aza bats and must navigate through them quietly. Keino becomes nervous and starts sweating excessively, causing the bats to become agitated. They decide to fight the bats, with Keino taking the lead. Samael realizes that Keino may not be as bad as he initially thought. As they fight, a higher-pitched screeching sound causes a cave-in, separating Samael and Keino. Samael decides to leave Keino behind and continue on his own. Abbie appears and convinces Samael to help Keino, revealing that Keino has a tamed pterodactyl. They agree to find another way out of the cave. As Samael continues his journey, he encounters more bats, and their heads explode mysteriously. He also has a vision of a dark-hooded man in a chamber, but the man disappears. Samael loses track of Keino but eventually finds footprints and follows them. He hides and observes the dark-hooded man, then continues to follow him. Samael eventually reaches an open space in the cave and hears Keino shouting. Keino runs towards Samael, but they both fall into a giant hole. They survive the fall and continue their journey through the cavern, discovering secret chambers and facing deadly monsters. The chapter ends with the question of whether they will survive and find a way out.
