In Chapter 19, titled "Pterodac εκδίκηση—Vengeance: Part 2," the cavern walls continue to leak black liquid, which forms into a black blob. Samael and Abbie observe something moving inside the blob but decide not to touch it. Samael retrieves Tom Prince's diary from his bag and reads an entry about the black blob being a gift from God, meant to bring tribulations and unleash God's wrath. As Samael continues reading, human figures made of black liquid emerge from the cavern walls. These creatures, devoid of emotions and morals, engage in a battle with Samael. Despite their terrifying strength, Samael fights back using his teleportation technique and unusual long steel sword, reducing the creatures to smooshed black slime.
As Samael examines the slime, it begins hissing and boiling. He senses that something is not right but decides to move on. The slime reforms into the black blob as they leave the area. Samael wonders if the black liquid creatures are truly dead. They reach a dead end with an elevator shaft, and Samael decides to jump onto it for their escape. More black liquid creatures approach, and Samael pulls a lever beside the elevator shaft, causing it to drop rapidly. Samael grabs onto the wooden rails, and the elevator crashes to the ground. The chapter ends with uncertainty about Samael's fate, as he hears the voice saying, "You are destined to do more, son of Azazel."
