In Chapter 25, titled "Old Church: Azurian Watcher Part 2," Samael explores the underground area beneath the church. He discovers a stairway leading further down and follows the candlelight that guides his path. Abbie expresses concern, but Samael dismisses it, teasing her about not being real.
As Samael enters an odd room with two blocked pathways, black dim spheres appear, and humanoid creatures emerge. These creatures wield demonic versions of Samael's mystic blade. Samael fights them, but they prove to be formidable opponents. He is eventually overpowered and falls to the ground, bleeding from their attacks.
An aider wearing a black sackcloth enters the scene and effortlessly defeats the creatures. He explains to Samael that his sword is not effective against these creatures and reveals that his own sword is an Azurian blade. The aider speaks of prophecies and the significance of the [great light]. Samael realizes that the aider's voice sounds familiar and asks if he is his mother. The aider cryptically responds before giving Samael an item and departing.
Samael wakes up from his rest, reflecting on the encounter. He encounters the aider again, and they discuss prophecies and the significance of their swords. The aider reveals that the creatures they fought are called "Azurian Fiends" and explains their connection to the Azurians. Samael listens attentively, curious about the origin of these creatures and the role of the Azurians.
The chapter ends with the promise of a short origin story of the Azurians in the next chapter, as Samael's adventures continue.
