Chapter 35, titled "Mama Neptune's Maw," begins with Samael urgently seeking Abbie's assistance. They discuss the need to collect venom and convert it into a destructive force, but Abbie's database fails to provide any information on the matter. Meanwhile, Mama Neptune's belly darkens and the crewmen become fearful. Samael hears a voice calling out to him in the darkness, leading him closer to Mama Neptune.

As Samael approaches the source of the voice, he witnesses a great light and a woman materializes before him. She introduces herself as Mama Neptune, the embodiment of the ocean's fury and guardian of its secrets. Mama Neptune reveals to Samael that within her exists a powerful venom capable of consuming worlds. She believes that Samael possesses the strength and purity of heart required to wield this power wisely.

Overwhelmed by the responsibility, Samael accepts the task of harnessing the venom to save both ocean and land creatures. Mama Neptune instructs him to destroy her heart to prevent the venom from causing the extinction of the world. Despite a warning from another voice, Samael follows Mama Neptune's instructions and stabs her heart with his Pterodac sword. Mama Neptune wails and moments later explodes, causing blood to rush towards Samael.

In the secret chambers of Mama Neptune's heart, Samael is confronted by the voice that warns him not to proceed. However, Samael remains determined and believes that he has saved the Captain and the crew members. He expresses grief over killing Mama Neptune, who had protected everyone but him. Abbie appears and consoles Samael, asking him what he plans to do with Mama Neptune's body. Samael decides to give her a proper burial.

Carrying Mama Neptune in his arms, Samael emerges from her belly and steps into a new territory, surrounded by a large crowd. The crowd recognizes Mama Neptune's corpse and whispers among themselves. Samael pushes through the crowd and finds a river that connects to the ocean, suggesting a path for the next part of the story.
