Joe's POV:

Back home,my luggages were placed gently at a corner of the room by the house maid .Trailing behind i let my whole body collapse on the bed , right before muttering a thank you to the maid before shutting my door close. Just soon afterwards there was a knock at my door made me sit up straight and answer

Joe's it's me Dad said

Dad come in i said sitting on the bed as i wait for his entrance

How was your trip? He asked walking towards where i was sitted

It was ok Dad i simply replied

Work? I asked him

oh work's fine, just clients,partnerships and projects well it's fine yet stressful at the same time

hmmm yeah i said

I will be out,there's somewhere i need to be right now but there's food in the kitchen ,i will let Maryam bring your food in,I have contacted your uncle and aunt and told them about your safe journey back home. Rest a bit before you get to speak to them ok

Ok dad, be back home soon i said

i will be leaving he said pecking my forehead

Bye he said standing up and walking out of the room.

After eating,I slept for a long while before waking up to watch in the sitting room .The house was so Quiet on occasions like this others have their moms to sit and chat with. I felt so lonely and empty inside but i had to just give it in me.

The sound of a car horn was heard by the gate man and the gate was pushed open by him,a car pulled up instantly as i heard voices outside getting nearer to the door of the living room was flinged open. I turned to have a look at who it was

Joe!!!!!!! Maimuna and Munira my cousins screamed upon seeing me

Girl we missed you they said

I missed you guys too, Dad told you guys I'm back right?

Yes, we heard him speaking to dad yesterday so we asked about you .He said you were at aunty Sadiya's place in USA but will be back tomorrow which is today. He called dad the instant you came back , so we rushed over to come see you.

So how are you? What did you bring for me Munira said

Munira! What is this ? Joe just came back not too long ago let her rest a bit Maimuna said

Mtssswwww,uhmmm Joe please let's sit Munira said totally ignoring Munira

Maimuna laughed a bit.

We all sat and talked for quite some while mostly me doing more of the talking ,munira making silly stuffs while maimuna being her introverted self as usual

Since you came back today before school resumes,whenever you are ready won't you find a suitable day to pack some of your stuffs and come stay with us for the time being .Joe aren't you bored leaving here all alone Maimuna said.

Yes Joe maimu is right,come to think of it Uncle goes to work everyday only stays at home during the weekend

About that...Dad's getting married anytime soon guys I spilt out the milk

Wow! congrats Joe they both hugged me happiness clearly shown on their faces. After breaking free from the hug,they both looked at me curiously and asked Joe why are you a bit sad?

It's not that it's that it is just that he's marrying a divorcee and she has two kids
