My worst Nightmare

Khairat's POV:
Coming to Nigeria was one of my biggest regrets, Everyone's so nice except for this Abdulmalik of a guy who's more of a pain in the throat , I really pity his wife to be or rather girlfriend that is if he even has any.

Wake up .... Wake up... Aunt has been saying this for the 10th time this morning and it's kind of irritating to my ears now

Ok I said out loud pressing the pillow tight on my ear as I gently opened my eyes welcoming hers

Good morning baby she said smiling gently at me

I sniffed the scent of the room ,it has this fresh morning flowers scent. It was not until I realized the incense stick that was just above my head that I knew the reason behind the sweet scent

Wake up and get dress baby finally Today is the day you get to a new school she said twriling round the room happily

Oh no!! It's really happening,I am moving in to an all girls boarding school, what's worse is I am new to all this environment I screamed in my head

I will be outside waiting for you she said before closing the door

I laid flat on my bed for some minutes before I heard a knock again on my door . I quickly rushed and put on my slippers ready to go into the bathroom with my tooth brush in my hand not until the door clicked open. I didn't get to see the person's face completely because he stood transfixed by the door his sideburns slightly peeping out of the door

Hey it's me ,I will be off to school in an hour time and breakfast is almost ready . I guess that's all he said before slamming the door shut

I rolled my eyes and stamped my feet in annoyance before rushing into the bathroom to tidy up myself . In some minutes time I was done and I went downstairs for breakfast

Malik,before going to school drop khairat first Aunt said while eating

Make sure she's given a class before you leave she added

Uhmmm he said slightly nodding his head

My dear she continued

I am sorry aunty can't drop you off to school, There's somewhere I have to be okay

It's alrighty aunty,I am very sure Malik will try his best I said faking a smile at him

Good! quick then you don't want to be late on your first day at school she said

We arrived at the school and I was in awe of how it looked. There were so many facilities,teachers, students both national and international not to mention their uniforms OMG!! ok I was beginning to like this school not until I accidentally bumped on a girl on our way to the registrar office

Hey are you blind or what? ..Watch your steps! A dark tall girl said .She seemed clearly pissed and I was about saying something not until someone held my hand and walked me off the scene

You! I hissed due to the pain he caused from groping my hand tight

Fighting on a first day wouldn't give you a good picture as a fresher he said

Good afternoon sir , I am Malik ( Abdulmalik Salees) Khairat's elder brother and guardian he said to a man standing right behind me

I turned to look at the man for a while before turning to eye Abdul Malik

Oh! You are welcome please do come in.He said ushering us into an office

Please have a seat He said as we all sat down

Last two weeks ,it was an elderly man and woman that came to register a vacant student offer for our school  with the name Khairat Sadiq. I believe she's the one sitting across me right He asked

Yeah,yes she is the one Malik answered

We already have a class for her and all other necessary utilities she will be needing such as the school tab ,limited WiFi and ICTs for her assessments but still rules are rules here is a list of rules we comply to in this school he said handing over two white papers to us

I went through the paper carefully and I was quite okay with it .Not until I saw no fights within the school premises such as classroom,laboratories and libraries.

The other girl from before I can't just let her slide, I need to teach her a memorable lesson I thought inwardly

Are you alright miss? you look lost . The man with glasses asked concernly

Yeah I just......
I just can't wait to meet my classmanted that's why I said lying about being excited

Oh yeah , it's alright no need to be anxious you will be taken to your class room right now He said

Mr Malik he added

There's nothing to worry about,Khairat is in safe hands of the school authority now if you don't mind shall we? He said standing up

Please follow me he said walking Infront of us

Class silence! He said with authority in his voice

The class dropped silence even the drop of a pin couldn't be heard as everyone focused there whole attention on me

Class we have a new student whok would be introducing herself now . So let's behave Mr Hakeem the registrar said

Miss Khairat he said ushering me to step forward and introduce myself

I took a step forward with a deep breath as I  said " Hi everyone,my name is Khairat Fawaz and it's my pleasure to be in this class"

"Welcome Khairat" everyone responded before focusing on their work

"Mr Maleek ,I think g I should be seeing you off now" the man said but then he was interrupted by Maleek Short responses as usual

" No need ,Khairat can I speak to you for a moment" he said before walking right infront of me.

We walked towards the car park as he halted upon reaching the car handle and rested his back on it , focusing on my face with so much seriousness he did something strange that utterly kept me amused for a while. He took out a hand and patted it on my head as he said " behave if you need anything call your guardian let us know at home ".

He entered the car and slammed the door shut . I stood transfixed for a while touching my hair before leaving the scene unto the classroom

Upon entering the classroom, I scanned through everyone's faces as I walked forth ,halting in the middle row i thought for a while before speaking out loud " Excuse me , who do i get to sit with?" I asked oblivious

" Most people have sitmates already you can chose any of those seats there" a girl said pointing from a distance

" Nasreen" I hear a girl mutter to the girl whom answered to my question.

Ignoring their little whispers,I titled my head a bit to the back bencher sitted at the extreme end before walking towards her.

As my steps kept approaching towards her,the more I felt everyone's conversation lessen . I stopped right infront of her desk

Dropping my bag on the desk I slide into my new seat and looked sideways only to find the girl looking awkwardly at me

Am I too pretty for your liking or what? I said sarcastically

I see you're new she said heaving a sigh

By the way I'm Fauziyah she said stretching her hand for a shake

I looked at her hand for a while before stretching mine for a shake

Khairat..Khairat Fawaz that's my name

The school bell rang indicating  the time for the next subject

Welcome to Hell sweetheart she said to me right before the Geometry teacher entered the class
