Chapter 16: A grumpy wolf

3rd POV

The next morning Freya sat up from bed still feeling drowsy. She yawned, stretching her arms out. A shadow behind her loomed and two large hands began tangled around her waist. But that did not alert her since she knew who those hands belonged to.

"Morning, honey" Freya greeted.

She turned her head slightly around and there she saw her husband Shino in his beastmen form. He hugged her warmly in his arms with both of his hands. He gently placed his chin on the crooks of her neck and took a deep breath.

"Good morning," Shino said in a hoarse voice.

He unraveled one of his hands to rub his sleepy eyes. His mouth opened showing his sharp fangs when yawning. Freya giggled seeing his black furry tail swish back and forth hitting the soft bed sheets. Trails of Shino's sweet kisses landed in her neck down to her shoulder. His hands that were placed on her waist began to slowly move around.

When Freya felt his large and rough hands touching her skin it made her cheeks tint red. The kisses he planted and his hands now groping both her breasts under her shirt. She knew that this naughty husband of hers is trying to seduce her just like last night. Where she was lured in by his charms and affection. The low yet sexy growl Shino let out under her ear was evident he wanted more than a snuggle in the morning.

" You naughty kitty. There is no time for that. It's already morning."

"Flower, pleasee stay with me longer~" Shino begged.

She nagged to her husband who kept tempting her to stay in bed longer. As much as she wanted to stay besides her husband the sun had risen up. She knows that they need to wake up to start their day. Shino, who had his arms still tangled trying to tempt Freya, whimpered.

Freya teasingly had one of her hands rub the top of his fluffy black hair. Her fingers combed his curly hair and it slowly went down. When her finger trailed down to his nose. She smiled at the plan she had in mind before giving his nose a boop. Shino looked at her with curiosity, still begging her.

"No! Don't leave. Please stay with me~ I love you!" He said. Trying to influence her to stay with him longer.

"You naughty kitty. Stop whining and get up already!" Freya nagged at him.

Using one of her hands Freya pinched her husband's nose hard like a crab. She saw him start to swish his head left and right to escape her pinching. When he was distracted with getting her pinch off his nose his grasp on her loosen. She took that chance to escape his clutches out of bed to really start her day.

As soon as Freya got up slightly Shino was reluctant and whimpered even more. His arms around her tighten, making her body drop down onto his lap. He began snuggling her while whimpering for her to stay longer.

Freya sighed, rubbing her forehead as now she is stuck. She was sitting on his lap with his whole body tangled around her. Her plans to escape from his clutches failed over and over again.

"Alright, you win" Freya sighed, having no choice but to stay with him.

Freya thought that staying in bed with him for a short while may fulfill his wish. However, oh how she was proven wrong once it had been a couple minutes of them laying in bed. Little did she know that the panther husband of hers wanted something more than laying down.

When she heard Shino's stomach growling for food she told him she will cook breakfast now. She tried standing up but was pulled back down by him. Turning her head slightly to him Freya knew he wanted something more than a meal once she saw him licking his lips right in her face. It was that of prey and predator looking each other in the eyes.
