After lunch- Freya and Lucas decided to take a stroll along the beach, spending some time together. Heinry stayed behind, watching the cubs as they napped together. Meanwhile, Shino and Alexander were at it again, this time arguing about who could catch the most fish in the ocean. Their competitive spirits turned into a contest.

Freya held a coconut bowl filled with juice. She celebrates the fun day at the beach by sipping from it occasionally. As they walked along the shoreline, she felt the need to let her worries come out. She wanted to share the thoughts that had been troubling her for quite some time. She wanted to tell Lucas about the strange dreams.

"Lucas," she began, her voice tentative. Lucas turned his attention to her, waiting for what she was going to say.

"I've been having these strange dreams lately. It might sound odd, but once in a while I see you in those dreams. I know, it sounds crazy, right?" She said, awkwardly rubbing the side of her arms.

Lucas's eyes widened as he looked at her, but he quickly masked his concern with a cheerful facade. "Oh?" he said, acting quite confused. "Me?"

"What kind of dreams?" he teased, trying to lighten the mood. "Did we have a big family? A cute cub?"

Freya shook her head, her expression serious. "No, it wasn't like that. I felt... -trapped. Locked up in a dark cave.. I saw a crib but don't think there was a cub. It felt so lonely and quiet."

Lucas's playful demeanor faltered for a moment. He looked away, pretending to see something in the distance.

Each word she spoke triggered memories he'd tried to bury deep within. The worst moment of his past life came rushing back. But this time, it was Freya who told him these memories. The day Freya died while giving birth, leaving him empty.

Only left with lingering pain of regret.

"What I'm going to ask you sounds crazy but did that actually happen? Are they true or is it really a dream?" She says, confused with it being a dream or a past experience.

"No, they're just bad dreams," he finally said, forcing a smile while reassuring her that it was only a dream.

The truth weighed heavily on his heart, a truth he desperately wanted to keep hidden. What stays in the past should stay in the past. The chances of his wife getting her memories back would be a disaster. This life now is different from the past. Lucas loved his life, his second chance in fixing what he can.

Freya continued to talk about her dreams, her voice filled with confusion and unease.

Lucas maintained his cheerful facade as he continued to laugh it off, teasing her. Even though from the inside he was struggling with his own pain. He kept calm.

"Look over there, a horde of fish!" he exclaimed suddenly, pointing out to the ocean.

"Where?" Freya asked, turning to look in curiosity.

Lucas chuckled, "Nah, just kidding."

He bent down and picked up a rainbow-colored shell, handing it to Freya with a playful grin. "Here, this is for you."

Freya took the shell, surprised by its beauty. From behind, Lucas wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and planting a kiss on her cheek.

"I love you," he thought while hugging her.

I was a sudden thing he said that made Freya shocked. She giggled, the tension from their conversation melting away. She turned her head slightly, still holding the rainbow shell in her hands.
