3RD POV

After Alexander had become the wolf patriarch the tribe had changed, little by little. Though the orcs in the tribe doubt his skills to take leadership due to the rumors circulating. The once rumored brown wolf they disliked saw a change in him. The orcs could only hope for a change, to one day strive.

There were some orcs that were happy and others, not so satisfied about the new patriarch. All they could do is watch and wait for how Alexander would lead.

Out of all orcs Freya was proud of Alexander. The puppy she met in the forest was now grown up and had become a leader. Like a proud mother she cried a single tear for him. Though Alexander did win the battle, she herself had a part in his victory! Not from her confident speech to him but from all those times where she smacked and nagged him to get his shit together.

It had been a week after Alexander had become patriarch. In celebration to a new wolf patriarch Alexander had hosted a bonfire. That was open for anyone in the tribe to come and attend. He and many other wolf's set out to the forest and hunted various foods.

At the night of the bonfire, the three moons had brightly gleamed the night sky. There was smoke in the air due to the many campfires lit. Wolf guards walked around holding trays of meat to give to each group for the bonfire. Different groups of orcs were split up and spread around the area. There were some males giving prey they had hunted to court females.

The bonfire was filled with lively chatter in the air. It was a peaceful night and not one fight had broken out. For Freya that wasn't the case...

It was the complete opposite when sitting next to not one clingy panther but two other orcs, who had unexpectedly joined them. Freya felt awkward in the situation is in now. She thought she would be spending the night in peace and quiet.

But it wasn't the case.

Across from the campfire was Alexander and Heinry that joined them. Freya didn't mind them joining but for Shino he was opposed to that idea.

Freya's mouth was shut tight, not saying a word. The atmosphere between the three orcs was dead silent. The three orcs had piercing glares at one another. Some growls and hisses in the air that only made it worse. There were some spectators around the bonfire watching with curiosity.

Freya knew she had to say something now but she was stuck on what she should talk about. One wrong move could make it worse. She had to think of something interesting to say, or else they would only go back to glaring at each other.

An idea entered Freya's mind, she was about to express it to them, but Heinry interrupted her. His red eyes glinted, and as his lips moved, things took a nasty turn. He uttered something in the beast language that offended Alexander and Shino.

Freya did not understand what Heinry had said, but from Alexander's expression in front of her, she knew it must have been really nasty. Shino and Alexander's faces were filled with anger, their sharp fangs showing as they glared at Heinry. The two of them looked as though they wanted to rip him apart. All Heinry did was smirk and then laugh at what he had said to them.

Freya looked at Heinry and frowned at him. She knew that with this arrogant bird joining them. It was about time he learned some manners. If he wasn't going to change that attitude then Freya herself will.

"That's enough" Freya said.

She stood up, surprising all three orcs. Without uttering a word or displaying any expression on her face, she approached Heinry. She then stuffed a chicken leg and other meat into his mouth, silencing the chattering bird.
