🍋 Chapter 19: Overly confident

3rd POV

The next morning, Freya woke up. The sun was shining brightly through the windows. She yawned, stretching out her arms. A sudden tender kiss landed on her cheek. Her drowsy eyes turned and from behind her she saw Shino.

Her naked panther husband who had both his arms around her waist. His body leaned on her bare back and rested his head on her shoulders.

"Good morning" Shino yawned.

"Morning"

Freya giggled but soon her face turned gum once one of his hands rubbed her flat stomach. She and Shino would mate every single night but alas she wasn't pregnant. There were no signs of pregnancy in the last weeks.

When they moved to the Heihei wolf tribe, she and Shino wanted to settle down. Finally together as husband and wife. The next thing to make their lives perfect was cubs of their own. A family of their own.

Freya's desire to have a baby and experience motherhood was what she dreamed of. Back on Earth when she was a huge celebrity she didn't have time for anything. She was always busy in regards to her schedule. No friends, boyfriends, or pets by her side. All that she had was her mother. Who controlled her throughout her life.

Now that Freya is in the beast-world she is now free. Unlike her mother who used to be kind now changed into a manipulative person. Having a baby of her own meant a lot to her. She can love her baby with all her heart. Instead of following the same path her mother went through and how badly she was treated. Freya promises to never be like her mother, the person who she used to look up to. She wants to smother her own babies with lots of love and affection.

Freya knew that she had been eating less all because of the dreams. She thought that living in another world with a new start in life would ease her pain inside. No one to hurt her and no one to use her anymore. The beast world was her new home. But all the memories back from Earth once again came back, this time haunting her dreams. The very same pain, sorrow, and anger she felt when she was Freya Evermore.

This might be the very reason for her cause.

Last week Freya had an odd dream that kept repeating over and over again. Every single night that exact dream happened until it one day stopped. The strange dream made her happy but at the same time felt like she was trapped. It was another life where she lived with an unknown man who was her husband.

The dream felt so real it made her believe it actually happened in the past.

In the dream, she became pregnant but didn't know what happened next after she was in labor. Was the baby okay? How is the man doing? Did she give birth? Freya had so many questions stacked up in her head. She had to know what happened in that strange dream on hers!

She recalls in the dream the moment she opens her eyes the first thing she sees is a naked man. Who was peacefully sleeping next to her. Their sweaty bodies were tangled in each other's embrace.

Freya would always notice that both of them are naked in bed. Having mated for quite a long time due to their lower bodies knotting. She had a swollen body and red marks all over. The man next to her had curly green hair that lengthens down to his neck. She did not know his name but he was really handsome.

With his muscular body that had scars and to his cute pointy ears. Freya knows that every time she wakes up it's with this man. They were inside a dark cave located somewhere deep in the forest. The only sounds she heard were the wind and rain drops falling down. Whenever she pokes at the man she hears his light snoozes and breath.
