"Jeongin, you really need to tell him how you feel. This silence has gone on for far too long."

It was lunch time for the students; and of course Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix, and Jeongin sat together in the cafeteria to eat. Chan had graduated the year prior and was now in college, and Seungmin was absent for having fallen ill the night before.

Since the second youngest was absent, the topic of conversation became Jeongin and his feelings for Seungmin, which had become common knowledge among the whole friend group.

Well, except for Seungmin.

It was the second semester of Jeongin's sophomore year, meaning that it has now been about two years since he began to have feelings for his friend and classmate.

The conversation at first was light-hearted, poking fun at Jeongin. Until it became very apparent that the youngest had absolutely no plans to tell Seungmin about his feelings for him. This quickly turned the atmosphere serious, and Minho voiced an almost demanding comment to Jeongin to hopefully change his mind.

"But he's not going to return my feelings," Jeongin retorted, now frowning at his hyungs.

"You don't know that," Hyunjin blurted.

"Yeah. You need to let go of that burden or else it'll eat you alive. Did you learn nothing from Hyunjin's mistake?" Jisung mentioned, pointing to the junior at the last sentence.

Hyunjin nodded along with the younger's comment, hoping to help convince his best friend to confess to their friend.

"If you were to be rejected, I think Seungmin cares about you too much to let it taint your friendship. Don't you agree?" Felix added.

Jeongin thought back to the birthday gift Seungmin had given him the week prior. It was a yin bracelet, and when Jeongin had expressed confusion, Seungmin revealed a yang bracelet on his wrist. The older had gotten them friendship bracelets, which elated the younger.

Jeongin sighed deeply, replying to Felix's statement with a soft, "Yeah."

Silence followed, as everyone stared at the youngest expectantly.

"Okay, okay! I'll tell him," Jeongin said with much annoyance.

But it satisfied his hyungs and changed the topic, which relieved the youngest. But now he had to worry about his admirers possible reaction to his future confession.

Jeongin arrived at Seungmin's house with the older's homework, feeling increasingly nervous since he told his hyungs that he would tell Seungmin about his feelings. He didn't plan on doing it that night, but after Seungmin opened the door and invited the younger inside, Jeongin figured that it would be best to just get it done and over with.
