Namjoon's POV
I received a call waking us up in the morning. "Hello?""What's your deal? There's an article on me on how I'm sexually inappropriate with women. Clearly that's your doing. My company has to release a statement now and my comeback is pushed back."
"Ahhh, sunbaenim. I don't know what you mean? Maybe the women you dated came forward? Why would that be me? It's not like you exposed my relationship because you couldn't get your hands on my friend and girlfriend like she was a prize. Not cool man. Be glad we didn't expose the racism either or the body shaming." I answered. "Are we good here?"
"Go fuck yourself."
How funny. "No, thank you. I'd rather do it with her than my hand. You can do so tho. Pretty sure your bed will be empty for a while." I hung up.
An arm with a gentle hand made me lay down again. "He's upset?"
I grinned. "Fuming."
A dimply smile. "Good.. Good. I'm sorry we had to do that to him, but he deserved it."
I kissed her. "Damn right he did." I checked my watch. "You're leaving tomorrow evening. What do you want to do?"
She took her phone. "Seeing the hundreds of notifications on my phone, I'm sure yours is the same. Time for damage control?"
I took her phone and put it under my pillow. "Or cuddle our way back to sleep?" I got an idea. "Even better.. I want us to go for a walk with your dog. We can go with Kookie and his dog if you want. Then, we get back and we take my bike. You can sit behind me and we find a safe place to show you how to ride a bike. After, we can go to a museum or one of the palaces. All of this intertwined with breakfast, lunch and dinner out?"
She chuckled. "Basically show ourselves off in public as much as possible."
"The biggest fuck off we can do and the best day ever."
She agreed. "Let's do that! Want to make it better?"
"How?"
A smirk. "We do have similar outfits."
What an amazing plan! We had the same shirt. She wore it as a dress with biker shorts, while I wore it with jeans. Kookie couldn't join our walk with Mushu, but the cool morning air was great. The funniest part was the bike.
Mina's POV
Oh goodness. Being on a bike was something, riding it was another story. That was one thing that scared me to death. "I won't let go until you say so, alright?"My father used to say that. He always let go before. It ended in me being scratched up all over. "You promise?"
"I promise. I'll catch you if there's anything."
Okay.. I put my feet on the pedals. "Let's try this." I gave it a push. I figured out the motion. The balance was my issue. I put my feet back down. "I'm a bit scared, sorry." Looking back, his hand was still on the back of the seat. He didn't let go.
He smiled. "It's okay. Wanna try that again?"
I nodded and tried again. I went a bit faster. My balance was decent and felt comfortable enough. "You can try to let go." He did, but he jogged next to me.
We did about a 100m, before I stopped. I felt his hand on my back. "Went okay?"
I was grinning like an idiot. "I didn't fall! Did you see that?"
He chuckled. "I did! Want to try making it back home on it? Can help you with balance when we go slow. What do you think?" That's what we did. I stopped a couple of times, but I could decently ride a bike!
Namjoon's POV
We got breakfast a little late. We ate it while making our way around town to a museum. We'd start by the museum of history and then the global village folklore museum. No masks, hands in one another, close together. We read and I narrated the history museum. She was so interested and asked questions. Her enjoying the day was all I wanted. I saw the looks, the phones.. for once, she didn't. She was all smiles. Out of there, we headed for lunch. We went to a market and got some street food and ate outside. We sat at a park. "Enjoyed the museum?"She nodded. "Yeah! I knew a lot about the Joseon era and a bit of the Korean War since we learned from it in the angle of the Cold War with the Americans being on the South's side, but that was so tainted. It was impressive. Tragic, but impressive. The rest was new to me. I leaned a lot." She shared a bite of her dish with me.
I chewed before I replied. "I'm glad about that. When you told me how the story was told on your side, I couldn't believe it." It was almost like the battle wasn't ours. Everything was about the USA and the USSR. The joined, but they didn't have to. They mingled in our things. Now that I thought about it.. No wonder our country did like western politics. "I don't think we'll have time for everything.. What do you want to do?"
She checked her watch. "Right.. the other museum is pretty far. We can keep it for another time! Go to a palace and do some window shopping? Finish with the Seoul library?"
I laughed. "You just want to see all the books and how huge it is!"
She was so cute. "Of course I do! It's gigantic!"
Our food done, I gave her a soft kiss that lasted a couple of seconds. "Let's go then."
She took my hand and gave me a look. "Took advantage of it a little?"
I smiled to myself. "Be subtle and look to your right." There was a camera. A person was sitting not so subtlety taking pictures in our direction. "They're so obvious."
She rolled her eyes. "Let's go! I want to see the nice gardens of Gyeongbokgung palace." Best day ever.
