Mina's POV
"So.. How's you two going?"I frowned. "What do you mean? It's great. We're just planning so many things and he's planning a small tour in Korea soon and-"
"Kookie and I shouldn't have followed huh? You guys are so busy and all over the place."
How could she say that? "I'm glad you came! I wasn't supposed to have anything except the 3 concerts. You know I can't say no to work in case I don't get any for months." I couldn't risk saying no to great and fun work. I could live off my sales, yes. But if I wanted dance to be a big part of my life, I needed to invest time. "I'm a hustler. You know that."
She sighed in a laugh. "I know that too well. You're cut for this. I just think we'll leave you to enjoy your last dinner here alone. Tell us if you're going out or staying in and we'll figure something out."
It was sweet of her. "Really? Not doing that to be just you and Jungkook alone, are you?"
She rolled her eyes. "I'll put that sassiness on the fact you're planning your Sunday right now. I'll let you do that alone."
She closed the joint door and I was alone in the room, typing away, headphones in. It wasn't just Sunday. It was my budget, my schedule, closing custom orders from the end of October to January. Only selling the earrings I'd do without ask from now on. I didn't want to bring work to do in Seoul, only ship. I'd have enough work as is. Going through my mail, so many names appeared... PNation, YG, Hybe, RBW, SM. I couldn't say yes to all. I had to pick and choose. "..What do I do?.."
My headphones were pulled down. "Don't pull out your hair, Kitten.. Everything is solvable."
I took my forehead off of the table and slapped my cheeks. "It's a good problem. I can't do all of these."
He sat next to me. "Can I take a look?" I pushed my laptop towards him. "Okay. Let's see. I mean, some are for more than a group and multiple award shows. Wait.. you can't say no to PNation."
Why not? "That good?"
He pointed at it. "Hyejin is having a comeback. She wants you in her clips, on her stage performances and any tv ones. The pay is insane too, but I don't think that's what you care most about."
She wanted me? Really? "Wow..." I read on. "Mid November to December.. They'd pay for my air fare? It's more than great! Jezz.. can I even take anything else?"
He chuckled. "I'd hope for Hybe since it's us. We're having our comeback the same time as Hwasa or so. We all agreed it'd be nice to have you around the studio. Especially for the younger dancers. You'd be their sunbae! We're planning on doing a big down the timeline performance."
I wouldn't pick anything else! "Of course I'll say yes to that! And RBW because it's a performance for Mamamoo+"
Namjoon caressed my shoulders. "I... took the liberty to say we'd stay in for the rest of the day. Is that fine with you?"
Namjoon's POV
She was more than happy about that. "Please tell me we're ordering pizza!"I laughed. "And watching whatever you want."
We happily snuggled in our PJs, slices of Hawaiian pizza in hand. "Thank you for the food~"
I kissed her forehead. "My pleasure. Cheap tasty pizza, a movie we're barely watching and just chatting, that's the best time."
She grinned. "Agreed." She glanced up. "What?"
Now that I thought about it, that pajama looked looser than before. I shouldn't say anything. "Nothing, you look cute."
She messed up my hair. "You're thinking about something that can annoy me aren't you?" She glared at me. "Is it something on my face? No.. it is about how I look."
"You know the stereotypical thing Korean boyfriends say?" She nodded. "I'll say it now. Did you eat enough today?"
She burst out laughing. "I'm fine! Thanks for asking. I'm not dieting or anything. I promise. I just am too focused on my work or on working on my dance skills that I burn it, because I eat just the same. I skip breakfast most of the time, but I get it back later. Besides, makes my clothes fit a bit better. I'm far from the standard of your industry. I'd die before I'd get to that."
Girls still had that 100lbs label to achieve back home. It was dumb. Even 120lbs would look sickly on some, especially tall women. Moonbyul noona was 163cm and the standard. Mina wasn't. However, she was a M here, but an XL in Korea. To her family and society, she was skinny, but not to ours. Knowing what she went through and what some artists go through, I wanted to make sure she was safe in how she felt in her body. I was her number one fan! But seriously, to me she was beautiful because she was more than her appearance. She was cute and sexy, sure. But she was smart and kind first. "You're gorgeous to me. As long as it's not purposeful or harmful, I'll just do checkups here and there."
She kissed me. "And thank you for that." Another. "How would you feel about a shower?"
I was already getting up. "You're right, we're so dirty we need to clean ourselves really well! We should take it together to save water." I loved her giggle and her smile. We did more than save water. Thank goodness we didn't slip.
