Namjoon's P.O.V.
"Jimin and I finished his last song for his album last week. I think he was learning choreography today, but I'll put him in touch with you for sure."
I wrote notes on the business card I was just handed and put it in my pocket.
"That guy's discography is interesting, but I don't know if it's Jimin's type."
Maybe he's his type though. Shut it, he has a boyfriend. Don't give his partner more reasons to be paranoid."Thinking of getting another drink or are you looking for an escape plan?"
"Man, it's actually not so bad. I think I managed to secure a duet for Jungkookie."
Zico couldn't wait for me to reveal it.
"Pretty sure we're getting a Bangchan and Kook collaboration.""No way! Any luck for you?"
Well, actually. "For other songs, yeah! Probably will be writing a few for other people."
"You're writing songs for others?"
That wasn't my friend. It didn't sound like my girlfriend either.
"I might have a proposition for you, if you'd like."YES. Her. It's her voice that'd work.
"I'm all ears. I might have one for you too."A smile. "A feature for a feature?"
"You bet. Already have a song?"
She nodded. "Final draft type of situation, but I'm sure we can fix that."
"Great! I have a sample recorded for mine, if you'd like me to send it to you."
We didn't come here for nothing!Another business card. I'd keep this one in my wallet. Can't lose it!
"Sure thing. We can arrange to meet next week to work on them. I'll see you then.""What's with you and cool-looking kind women, huh?"
Zico!
"Don't make that face! Think about your female friends and tell me I'm wrong.""Talking about me?" Ah, noona. Save me from him!
"I need to talk to you on Hwasa's behalf."Zico pointed at himself. "Me? That sounds interesting. Sure!"
As Moonbyul passed by me, she nudged her head towards the left.
"Go, it'll take a while."THANK YOU. I tried not to look too eager and to not walk too fast in that direction. Where did that tall brunette go? She wasn't at her seat. After going from one side of the venue to the other, I found her speaking with someone. Well- No. No, it's still speaking. A few people were at the table actually, four including her. I didn't know any of them, but it seemed like she did. Did I look weird taking a picture of that moment? Probably, don't care. I bowed and sat down to her right. Min was so enthralled by her conversation. I understood one gesture from her. Thank you.
The person next to me was kind enough to enlighten me.
"We're talking about our recent work and he said that her stage with Le Sserafim was great.""Oh, he's right. It's great. Can I know your name?"
He offered his hand.
"Lee Jangho. I'm a composer and producer for Parastar entertainment."
Why does that ring a bell?
"My company's structured for people with disabilities. Pretty neat, huh?"I took a better look and noticed the hearing aid. "That IS pretty cool."
Then it clicked.
"You work with Big Ocean then?""Yeah!"
He nodded, motioning at the two others.
"They're dancers under our label. Kim Lea is hearing impaired and Song Hansen is mute. We've been coming to these events to try and spread the message and do more collaborations, but we haven't had much luck."That sucks. I've been giving to charities on my birthday and this year was the second time I gave to a charity that helps the hearing impaired to be introduced to ways to work in the industry, to be able to dance, sing, compose with their normal. I observed a few sessions before the military and I was impressed with the techniques they developed.
"I think people are missing out. Did Mina work with them? She looks like she knows them."
