Namjoon's P.O.V.
"Hey! Didn't know you were coming. You hate this stuff.""Hate's a big word. Not my favorite thing to do, but I'm actually going to look for a few features for my next album."
I greeted the guy I called my friend.
"What's up, Zico? From what I know, you don't show up to these much either."A shocked face. "And you didn't ask me to do one yet? I thought we were good friends!"
He crossed his arms.
"I'm great, thanks. I'm here for my band and I. Since you're here, we can talk about what I texted you about.""Riiight.. You want a redo? After ten years? We're gonna wipe the floor with you."
He laughed so hard. "It's on then! I'll get our manager to arrange something. Do you have a song for me?"
Come on! "Do I? Maybe. You'd have to come over to my studio to see."
"So, you do! Awesome! What's the theme of your album this time?"
Well.. "I don't have one, actually."
I mean.. It's always been about how I feel, my opinions, my thoughts.
Thinking on my musicality, however, it seemed to be held by the same string.
"I feel like it's the kind of album you put to clean around your house, when you're having dinner with friends. It's not super slow and mellow or anything. It's warm."
I must sound insane.
"Do you get what I mean?""I'll get the sense of it when I hear it, but you sound like you've been enjoying mundane things. Happy to be back from your tour?"
I glanced at my far right and smiled before answering. "Very. The fans are great. It's such a high everytime. I missed home. Didn't you literally come back from yours last week?"
"We did."
Zico sighed, grin across his face.
"It's amazing to know our fans didn't forget about us. Took three years, but we finally got our first tour since the military. I get it though. Your home's so much prettier than your bandmates."Thanks for speaking my language. You get it. "I've never formally introduced you to eachother, did I?"
"She doesn't need you to introduce herself. She stands out in the crowd."
Watch your mouth.
"Look how tall she is in those heels, damn!"
Oh, my God. Why did I expect the worst from him?
"You're matching. How adorable ~"You're awesome. "You think? We look cool right?"
He nodded. "Very nice. Wanna sit with me for the presentation?"
Oh shit. Right. There's a few performances too.
"Yeah! Let me check on-.."
Where did she go? She was there seconds ago.A light touch on my arm.
"Hi, I'm so sorry to interrupt your conversation."The relief hearing her proper business tone. She bowed to my friend as he outstretched his hand.
"Nice to finally meet you."She shook it, then casually put her hands in her front pockets
"Nice meeting you too. I'm just passing. He has something I want."
She turned to the side, grin on her face. "No space in my purse, you know?""What a gentleman ~"
Zico looked at me.
"She's funny too? You didn't tell me that. You're welcome to join us, Mina-ssi."Maybe she would stay home when my friends are hanging out at our place now? That'd be nice.
She denied.
"I already have a seat at Moonbyul and Irene eonnis' table, but I'm happy to chat after the presentation and performances are done."
The hand on my arm moved to my back.
"Joonie, mind handing them to me?"I snapped out of my little bubble. "Yeah- Yeah. Sorry."
I reached into my pocket and handed them to her.
"Doing okay?"She jokingly rolled her eyes. "Zico-ssi, mind making sure he's doing what he's here for?"
