Ghostly Hoots

Summary: Two days after Sheriff Toadster, Bittergiggle, and Slow Seline move into her home, Bella decides to visit an old friend of hers. Not only does she gets welcomed with warm hugs, but also gets shown a little affection.

Bella sighed as she floated in the sky, flying forward as she left the part of land that was Gravity Falls itself. She was exhausted.

It was no surprise, really. Bella was a dream demon, so even though she could get tired, her own stamina was different compared to that of mortal. She had longer and stronger stamina, and it had to be very low for her to have the issue of continuously falling asleep when she didn't want to at all.

Bella had been exhausted lately these days. Not because she's been taking all-nighters, which wouldn't be surprising either, but because of an issue that recently increased. Bella could easily put it in two words: love triangle.

Bella often wished for things in life, things a lot of people wanted. One of them was becoming a  mother, which in a way, she got by being the closest thing to one to Boxy Boo's children, Soxy, Roxy, and Paul.

Of course, there was the other thing Bella wanted most, especially after seeing how much SpongeBob really loved Twilight and how much Rapunzel and Eugene loved each other, to the point they both wanted to marry in the future.

Bella wanted to experience love. Sure, she knows what it truly means to feel loved by her friends, her dad, and even fans that knew her clearly well. But this was a different type of love she wanted to feel.

Bella wanted a boyfriend. Or a girlfriend. Someone to marry one day in the future and have children with. She wanted her own Prince Charming. Or her own beautiful lass. Just like with the whole motherhood thing, Bella did sort of get this wish in a way.

As soon as Bella stepped foot in the physical world, lots and lots of boys and girls have fallen for her. Bella was quite unaware of this at first. It was V who had informed her of the extra attention she was getting.

Then came the fighting. The war. The battle for her love. Bella realized the meaning of the phrase "be careful what you wish for". At least it was just Dipper, June, Fern, and some other people, new ones like Asmodeus, Fizzarolli, Verosika, Bittergiggle and occasionally Niffty, Gideon, and Leni.

She was told of other people that had a crush on her by V. Like Slow Seline, and even Beelzebub and Vortex. Bella wasn't sure whether to believe V or not. The three never fought, and Beelzebub and Vortex were both dating.

And looking in the past, Bella found out about her other admirers. The people she built strong connections with. People that were affectionate with her. One of those people was Barnaby.

Barnaby, a ghost owl she had encountered during the month-long break she had, along with the rest of the Deciphers, after an extraordinary mission saving Varian from Cassandra in Corona and saving Equestria from Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis.

Surprising to say the least, the Deciphers hardly saw or heard from Cassandra. There was one incident where Bella had to save Cassandra and some kind controlled drones from a insane cult teaming up with some new friends. But that was a story for another day.

Bella was exhausted back then, and since everyone else was on break, she figured she'd take a vacation. She remembered how her team members were surprised when they were told of the news.

"You're going on vacation?" Dipper was the most shocked of everyone. Bella was dressed in a different outfit. Her bow had a Hawaiian design to it, bright shades of green with red flowers with a hint of a peach color. She had pink eye shadow on, pink glasses shaped like a heart with only lense, since she did only have one eye. She wore a panjas bracelet on her left hand with peach colored chains and in the middle of her top palm laid a red jewel. She wore a white bowtie with red tips.
