Chapter 1

Laura's POV;

I push the doors of my new life.

New crush.

I moved on from Ross.. Well, kinda.

I'm already 18, and today is my first day of college. I have to move on from Ross, I mean, it's been 2 full years since I've seen him and talked to him. I know we have eachother's phone number, but I guess we were too scared to talk..

I want to go to this college because my sister's here. I also heard this college is very good.

Unfortunately, Vanessa told me Relany and Riker are here too...

So there might be a certain Ross too..

Rydel and Raini are also going to this college, and I'm very happy about that.

What happened to Ryland? You might ask. Well, last year, he got a girlfriend, and I guess I just didn't like him anymore..?

I was walking to my new dorm when I bump into a certain blonde. For a second, I thought I bumped into Rydel, but that was no Rydel...

It was Ross...

"Uh, sorry.." I mumbled under my breath and looked down.

"It's fine. What's your name?" He asked. My god, why is he here?! I hesitated for a few minutes, deciding if I should tell him my name. I did, eventually..

"Laura..." I said and looked at him. He smiled, "Oh, that's cool. I once had a friend who's name was... Wait.. Laura?" His eyes popped out of his face. He seemed kinda excited to see me. But I, honestly, was not excited at all.

"Hey.. Ross.." I awkwardly wave and he just hugs me?

Wow.

I pat his back, not really hugging back. "I can't believe it's you! Laura, I missed you!" He smiles and I nervously laugh.

My throat has a lump, and my stomach has a big knot. Not because I'm nervous around him. But because I have a feeling he still likes me, but I don't...

2 years. 2 years I kept doubting if I still liked him. But then, things happened, months passed, and my feeling erased..

Why do I feel like this year is gonna be different?

Because it is....
