Ross' POV;

You knows those times when you have to pretend to be a big brother or a big sister for someone?

Those times you hate when you feel betrayed?

The times where you just had to be there for someone?

That's what I'm doing right now.. I'm not mad at Laura, of course not, but Rydel is. Laura was supposed to come to comfort Rydel, and she did. But Rydel told her to leave..

So I'm here, in Rydel's dorm, sitting on her bed while listening her cry.

"Rydel, maybe Ratliff would like you too!" I said and she shakes her head, "No, I just wanted it to be a secret, a secret that he wouldn't find out!"

I groan and pat her back.

She closes her eyes and stays silent for a few minutes. "How did you do it?" She spoke up, opening her eyes again.

"What?" She looks at me and repeats, "How did you do it?"

I furrow my eyebrows and tilt my head. She sighs, "How did you make her fall in love with you?"

Realization hit my brain. I realized that she was trying to get Ratliff to like her..

"I didn't even know she loved me until you told me. But just pretend like Laura didn't say anything and pretend like you don't like him.."

She sighs and shakes her head, "No... I want him to like me, not avoid me.. I.. I gotta go shopping, okay? I'll see you later."

I nod and stood up. I have no clue on what she's gonna do, but I hope it works. I leave her dorm and went to Laura's, knowing she's in there.

I knock and no one opens the door. I sigh and open the door to see Laura laying in bed while hugging a pillow.

I sit down by her feet and she breaths out, "I'm a bad friend.."

I shook my head, "It just slipped out of your mouth. She asked me how did I get you.. How did you fall in love with me?" I jerked my head to her and she weakly smiles at me.

"You were that shaggy blonde haired guy in 12th grade. I just thought you were cute, like love at first sight, just that you didn't like me at that time.." She sighs sadly and I smiled.

"I love you now," I say and she nods, "I know, I love you too. But did Rydel mention me? Is she still mad at me?"

I look down at my lap and fiddle with my fingers. "Not sure. She didn't say anything about you. Want me to ask her?" I asked.

She nods and digs her nails into the pillow even more. I take out my phone and text Rydel.

'Laura wants to know if you are mad at her?'

I wait a few minutes and she replies back, 'No, it's okay. Tell her I'll come to her dorm soon, I'm just at the mall.'

I tell Laura and she nods. She sits up and hands me her pillow. I chuckle and kiss her cheek.

"Do you think Ellington likes her?" She asked. I shrug, "I don't know.. He's didn't say anything..."

She sighs, "I'm hungry.." I know she didn't want to keep up with the Rydellington topic because it made her feel bad, so she quickly changed it.

"Wanna go out to eat?" I asked and made our hands intertwine. She weakly smiles and puts her head on my shoulder.

"Sure."

I grab her hand but soon let it go when I see Rydel walk in the room. I gasped..

What has she done to herself?
