Chapter 6

'At Night In Navier's Room'

-Navier's POV-

I was lying in bed my arm over my eyes as tapping was coming from my balcony, I heard the noise rising to my feet walked up to the balcony doors, and opened them up.  Soon Queen flew up to me "Queen... You've returned more quickly this time." I said as Queen flew past me "Queen?" I turned to Queen. Queen plopped down on my bed laying, I walked over and sat down, as I petted Queen.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think that this was your room." I said chuckling. "Did your master send you on an errand this late in the evening?" I asked as she untied the note around Queen's leg and started to read it.

'As you wish, the bird's name shall be "Queen" But you should bear in mind that it's a male.'

"Oh, my. Were you a male bird?" I asked holding Queen in my hands as he moved and squawked at me angrily while flapping his wings around. I chuckled "Are you upset that I didn't know?"

'In The Morning'

-Third Person's POV-

'Before long, the new year's ceremony was upon us. It was a relief that neither Sovieshu nor I had very many distinguished guests arriving. We could avoid seeing each other for a while if we didn't need to greet them. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my distance forever...' Navier thought. 

"Make way for Prince Heinrey from The Weastern Kingdom!" A guard announced.

Navier and Sovieshu were standing next to each other with a smile on their faces as Prince Heinrey's carriage arrived.

He stepped out as Navier looked at him 'Prince Heinrey... He is first in line to the throne of the Western Kingdom... And at the center of many rumors, such as those which describe his great cruelty or great beauty.' Navier thought as Heinrey smiled at her, shocking her. 

As he walked up to her she thought again 'I see that at least the rumor about his beauty was true' She thought as Heinrey was in front of her. Navier looked up at him as blush filled her cheek a little 'With a face as handsome as his, rumors would swirl even if he stood in a corner with his mouth shut' She thought as she began to speak. "Ahem, Pleased-" She was cut off by Heinrey on his knee sticking out his hand to her, She looked surprised at this. 

Navier hesitantly stuck out her hand toward him into his as he smirked kissing her hand "It is an honor to meet you, My Queen." Heinrey said as he looked up at Navier. 

Navier took her hand out of his "It is an honor to meet you as well, Prince Heinrey. I hope you will get plenty of rest before the New Year's Ceremony. Please enjoy your time at the palace. I'm sure it will be to your liking" Navier said as Heinrey chuckled and smirked.

"It is already very much to my liking. And very beautiful as well" He said.
