'The Second Day Of The New Year's Day Ceremony'

-Navier's POV-

I was walking outside with my ladies-in-waiting Countess Eliza and Lady Laura, when we stopped we spotted Rashta with Viscountess Verdi they both were smiling at each other as they walked and talked.

"The blue silks she's wearing aren't the silks Grand Duke Rylan Roth tried to bribe you with? The very ones you turned down? Unbelievable." Laura mumbled over to me and Countess Eliza looked at Rashta.

Countess Eliza said, "And it seems she's taken more than just the silks." I turned to look at Rashta 'The woman next to her is Viscountess Verdi. Has that girl come, to steal everything from me, one by one? Well, she better watch out 'cause Angelica won't let Rashta harm me or herself' I thought as Countess Eliza, Lady Laura, and I walked away heading back to my room.

"I really can't understand the institution of the mistress. It's just a polite term for the woman your husband has cheated on you with, but I do enjoy Lady Angelica's company." A noblewoman said she was Princess Circe Of the Southern Empire. "Let's talk about something else! I overheard something quite steering over a meal at the Southern Palace. Prince Heinrey seems to have been anonymously exchanging letters with someone" Circe said. "He publicly asked for help in finding this anonymous individual."

Both Lady Laura and Countess Eliza turned to me quickly making me flinch at the sudden movement.

"Anonymous letters... Sound familiar, doesn't it?" Lady Laura whispered to me before I turned to Countess Eliza "It seems that Prince Heinrey was the one sending letters by way of Queen" Countess Eliza whispered to me too. I sweatdropped at this while Princess Circe looked confused at the display "Isn't this a good opportunity to become friends, Your Majesty?" Laura asked me, and I sighed "If word gets out about our relationship my enemies may spread malicious rumors. So, I'd rather stay friends like this. Friends who don't know each other's faces or names" I said.

I sat down on my couch as the two noble women were talking to each other, one was fanning me while I had a cup of tea in my hand "Exchanging letters with an anonymous pen pal? How romantic!" One noblewoman said as the other spoke up "Do you think it's true? There are many rumors about Prince Heinrey" The second noblewoman said. As they talked about this my gaze went to Viscountess Verdi who sat next to me she looked nervouse about this topic "Hm?" I hummed as one noblewoman said my name catching my attention.
