I was standing in front of a mirror as Countess Eliza was fixing the bottom of my blue dress and Laura was holding a hat that goes with it as a Lady-In-Waiting of mine spoke "Your Majesty, His Majesty is here to see you" I looked at her as Countess Eliza and Laura walked over to the Lady-In-Waiting "This early in the morning? Show him in" I said and she nodded opening the door and letting Sovieshu walk in the three other Ladies-In-Waiting walked out leaving them to talk alone he had a sad look on his face "Rashta is...Pregnant..." He said emotionless which surprised me 'I thought he would sound happier...But he doesn't' I thought and looked away "I'm afraid I can't give you my congratulations." I said making him sigh.
"The child will be illegitimate, but it will still be my first child." He said crossing his arms as I squeezed my hands together 'I know we don't love each other, but I always thought Angelica would have his first child before me anyway. He must not be happy that Rashta is pregnant and Angelica is not, since he cares more for her now.' I thought and looked at him with a small smile "I see." I said as he smiled back "I want you to increase Rashta and Angelica's allowance next month so that going forward, it is around the same amount that other Mistresses who gave birth to children received. I know Angelica isn't pregnant but it doesn't seem fair to her that her allowance is lower while Rashta's is much higher." He said, "I will do so, as soon as possible." I said nodding. "Rashta isn't conscious yet, but her life isn't in danger. So don't worry about her health as I have got it covered. And have 4 new dresses made for Angelica and some jewelry made for her as a gift from me her favorite jewels, gems, and colors. If you want to gift her something too, then just add it with my gift" He said and I giggled "I see. She must have done something to make you want to gift her so generously." I said teasingly as his face flushed red as I chuckled "I'll make sure it is fulfilled and given to her" I said as he smiled and walked out of my room I walked over to a chair and sat down as I spotted Queen flying in my room to me and Queen flew into my arms and hugged me as I smiled hugging him back "Aw, Queen. You're so sweet hugging me." I said.
Later in the day, I sat down on a chair thinking about the news I had received 'What is Angelica gonna do...Once Rashta's baby is born? Even though I know I should worry about it I can't help but feel worried for Angelica. I know that divorce is not an option for me and Sovieshu but in the end, Angelica would be a good Empress and would follow in my footsteps as a perfect Empress with my guidance. It will be the Emperor's first child...Plus it will be cute. And people love babies. It will only take those three qualities for people to fall in love with it. If I or Angelica act coldly towards a child like that...' My thoughts were cut off by Countess Eliza "Your Majesty, Prince Heinrey is here to see you. He says he has something urgent to tell you." Countess Eliza said walking inside my room to me. 'He's never come to visit me in my chambers before...What brings him here?' I thought as I nodded for her to let him in he was let in Countess Eliza set two teacups on the table and left them to talk, once the door closed Heinrey stood in front of me and stretched out his arms insinuating a hug "I came to comfort you. Would you say no to me giving you a hug as a friend?" He asked I looked at him and smiled at him "Go ahead" I said and he pulled me into a hug 'He smells like Queen...' I thought as my heart beat faster "I must really...Be a terrible person." Heinrey said pushing me away from him as I stared at him confused. "I came to comfort you because I thought you may be upset, but I keep having wicked thoughts" He said his face flustering up a lot as he covered his face with his hands "What do you mean?" I asked making him uncover his face a bit as he looked at him "Was I too close to you?" I asked making him shake his head "No, that's not what I meant! I'm not the kind of uncivilized man who would get excited in this kind of situation..." He said and saw my more confused face making him more embarrassed "Oh my god...I'm just digging my own grave right now, aren't I?" He said making me chuckle.
"Your tea will get cold. Take a seat." I said pointing to his chair.
We walked over and sat down in front of each other as I looked at his purple eyes "If you were a woman, the Emperor would have fallen for you...Because you have very beautiful eyes." I said making him chuckle lightly "That is a truly odd way to compliment someone. If I were a woman...I would work at the palace as your Lady-In-Waiting." Heinrey said taking a sip of tea "But why?" I asked as he set the teacup down "So I could be by your side all day." He said as I took a sip of my tea and laid the teacup down on the table "You want to be my Lady-In-Waiting?" I asked curious as he waved it off "Please cast your mind back to what I said after that, Your Majesty." He said making me laught.
