I sat down at my vanity as my maid Delice brushed my hair "You have no idea how proud I am to be working for you." Delice said as I smiled at her "Really?" I asked making Delice nod 'Little does she know that she won't be able to do what she's proud of for much longer. When I am Empress, I'll ask Viscountess Verdi to step down...And appoint Ladies-In-Waiting who are more trustworthy and from more prestigious families.' I thought as Delice opened the door letting Duke Ergi inside while I stood up "I can't believe you kept something so significant a secret from me. I'm a little disappointed." Duke Ergi said walking over to me "How did you know?" I asked surprised "Well...I guessed it." He said making me blush a bit covering my mouth shyly "I'm sorry. I just thought it would be better to keep it to myself for a while." I said as Duke Ergi nodded "I understand. Everyone has their secret." He said while I chuckled.
Soon Duke Ergi turned his gaze onto some dresses in my room "You're planning to attend the trial?"He asked making me nod "Yes, but I don't know what to wear." I said making Duke Ergi hide his smirk and smile at me "Do you want my help picking something out? I've seen a lot of dresses in my time." He said gaining my attention "You'll really help me?" I asked happily as Duke Ergi walked over to the dresses not noticing that I was staring at him while blushing before he gestured to a pretty fancy dress "I think you should wear this." He said making me look at the dress worriedly "Shouldn't I go for something less flashy? It's not supposed to be a day of celebration." I said while Duke Egri turned his gaze onto me "That's true for the Empress, but that's not the case for you, is it? You should show Everyone...That it's 'your world' Now." Duke Ergi said making me smile 'It is 'my world' now, isn't it.' I thought.
