-Third Person POV-

Navier stood looking out a window 'People have always wondered...Why the Western Kingdom didn't become an Empire...Despite amassing enough power and wealth to do so. I was one of those people...And I still don't know why.' Navier thought placing her hand on her chest and feeling her heartbeat 'The moment a kingdom becomes an Empire. That is a historic occasion...That will go down as a pivotal moment, not only in the history of one nation, but in history books across the world! I am standing right at the heart...Of this historical event.' Navier thought with a small smile "I'm going to become a good Empress." Navier muttered walking over to a bookshelf and pulling out cabinet meeting records of the Western Kingdom as she sat down in a chair and started to read after a while a knock filled the room as Rose's voice was heard gaining Navier's attention "Your Majesty. A journalist from the Blue Tribute is here." Navier shut the book laying it on a table 'The Blue Tribute...They're the third publication to be granted permission to report on the Royal Family. They're meeting me later than the other newspapers...So they'll probably try to attract people's attention with a story that's as sensational as possible.' Navier thought.

Navier walked out of the room to her drawing room as Rose held onto Naviers hands leading her to the drawing room as the journalist stood in front of her "It's an honor to meet you, Your Majesty. I'm Mondre. As I work for the Blur Tribute, I have permission to report on the Royal Family and bring their news to the people." He said staring at Nacier while she gave him a small smile "It's nice to meet you." Navier said as they walked over to their seats and sat down, soon Mondre took out a notepad and pen "Your Majesty's abilities and reputation are well-known even throughout the Western Kingdom. So Your Majesty will probably be a good Queen. However, I do have some concerns. The fact that Your Majesty has gained such a reputation as an Empress...Also means...That you have a lot of affection for the Eastern Empire." Mondre said making Navier grip the armchair 'This is a more difficult topic than I had anticipated. Even though I know the Eastern Empire is in good hands, it is still my birthplace and the Empire I grew up in.' Navier thought as Mondre looked at her nervously "This won't be a problem...If this never happens, but...Won't it put you in a difficult position...If the Eastern Empire and the Western Kingdom end up competing over the same thing?" Mondre said as the room fell silent.

"That sort of situation...Is very unlikely. Even if that kind of scenario were to happen, I don't think I would be the one who would decide on the outcome." Navier said making Mondre nod writing that down 'My plan to invite Grand Duke Kaufman and initiate international trade isn't an issue where I would have to decide between the two nations, either. At least, that's how it appears on the surface.' Navier thought as Mondre stood up bowing to her "Thank you for agreeing to the interview, Your Majesty." Mondre said as Navier gave him a nod while he left the room 'If something like that were to really happen...Neither me nor Angelica would be able to just ignore the situation.' Navier thought as Rose walked over to her gaining her attention "Your Majesty. The Ladies-In-Waiting who served you in the Eastern Empire have reached the capital." Rose said as Navier quickly got up and saw Laura and Countess Joubert enter the room making her run over to the two ladies pulling them into a hug "Laura! Countess Joubert!" Navier exclaimed happily as Laura and Countess Joubert both glanced at each other while they hugged Navier back.

Rose and Miss Mastas stood a bit apart as Laura and Countess Joubert held each of Navier's hands "I'm so sorry I took so long to get here. I had difficulty convincing my parents to let me go." Lauras said as Countess Joubert nodded "We also wanted to spend some time with Lady Angelica, Lady Diane, Lady Cecilia, and Countess Syliva before we left. My arrival at the Imperial Palace was also delayed because I had to sort out a few things." Countess Joubert said before realizing what she said "Oh dear. I meant the Royal Palace. I'm just not used to saying that." She said as Navier smiled softly 'You'll be able to call it the Imperial Palace soon enough.' Navier thought.
