Rashta was in her as a maid handed her a newspaper as she read it, "Though some respond to hate with kindness, others return that kindness with hatred. Think about the time Mistress Rashta received the large sum of 20 million kurts as a gift for her actual Royal Mistress ceremony to donate to the commoners. I was puzzled. This is someone from a poor commoner background who was a lowly mistress, then suddenly became a Royal Mistress overnight not even in a few months. How could such a person get money that fast? Then I came across something interesting while looking into it. It's common knowledge that Imperial Checks can only be issued under the Emperor or Empress's name. The only checks that have been issued were in Emperor Sovieshu, Empress Angelica, and Former Empress Navier's names. A look into the records of the Emperor's check usage revealed zero discrepancies, along with the same going for Empress Angelica. This means...The money Mistress Rashta donated...May have actually come from Empress Angelica or Former Empress Navier. Former Empress Navier might have left that money as an act of kindness for the woman of humble origins, or Empress Angelica may have left that money for the commoners to help them, since she is of former commoner origin as well. Is it right to use something that belongs to another person as if it were yours? Is it right to falsely represent someone else's generosity as your own? It's deplorable."
Rashta finished reading the newspaper, her eyes in panic, 'I knew it'd be discovered eventually....' Rashta thought as she felt a lot of pain in her stomach, "Urgh..." She groaned as the maids quickly called the midwife. Once the midwife arrived, Rashta laid on her back "AARGH!!!" She yelled in pain as Viscountess Verdi held her hand, "You must push harder, Lady Rashta!" The midwife explained, "Ahhhh!" Rashta shouted in pain, "Push, Lady Rashta!!!" The midwife said as Rashta did as she said, "You're almost there!" She said as Rashta pushed the last time her screams of pain filled the room, "AHHHHH!" Soon, the cries of a baby filled the room as Rashta laid her arm down, breathing heavily as she sobbed a little 'I had hoped that things would be different in the palace...But I guess it doesn't matter where I give birth.' Rashat thought, looking at the crying newborn in the midwife's arms as they wrapped the baby in a blanket 'It still feels like my body was torn apart.' Rashta thought as Viscountess Vedi held the baby in her arms and walked over to Rashta, "How...How's the baby?" Rashta asked softly as Viscountess Verdi placed the baby in her arms, "The baby is a healthy little...Princess, Lady Rashta." She said, making Rashta's eyes widen, "She's a...Princess...?" Rashta muttered, gritting her lip. "A girl..." Rashta sniffed, holding the crying baby close as she sobbed.
