"Since Her Majesty is busy with paperwork work she had assigned you to meet with the ball designer for the upcome ball. The Empress wrote everything that needs to be done for the ball in the folder you have. Since you know how to do the Empress's work and how she plans things she thought you were perfect for this job, since she has been teaching you about being an Empress, etiquette, and basic manners, My Lady." Lady Artina said as she walked beside Angelica who was holding the folder.
'Sister Navier has entrusted this task with me, so I must not fail. Which I won't I have been practicing and observing how to be an Empress like Sister Navier.' Angelica thought as she arrived in the garden and saw the male Ball designer, once she was in front of him she opened the folder and looked at the details before closing it and looking back up at the male as he nodded to let her speak not noticing Rashta hiding behind a tree watching her. "Let's make the public ball a masquerade ball. The Empress thought it would be a good idea since masquerade balls were popular during the late Emperor's reign, so I'm sure everyone will enjoy it. But as everyone will be wearing a mask, the Empress wants to be extra careful..." Angelica trailed off feeling eyes on her and she looked behind her while the male ball designer looked at her confused "My Lady?" He called out to her.
"...With security." Angelica mumbled looking at Rashta walking with two other noble ladies 'Was it her eyes I felt on me? How many days has it been? She was following me before and following Sister Navier too.' Angelica thought.
"Uh...Does My Lady have something to say to Lady Rashta?" The male asked turning his gaze onto Angelica as she continued to look at Rashta with a stern look "Wasn't she here yesterday, too while Sister Navier was here?" Angelica asked as the male nodded "Yes, she was. Please don't be offended, Lady Angelica. She is said to wander around the palace. She's just a Mistress from the lowest rung of society just like yourself, My Lady." The male said with a chuckle. Angelica held a stare at Rashta while the male continued to talk "I'm sure there must be a lot of things she does that are inappropriate to you and Her Majesty, as Lady Rashta does not know the etiquette required in the palace like you, My Lady. But I'm sure she will learn eventually." The male said Angelica didn't say anything 'Is he saying that Sister Navier and I are sensitive because we are bothered by someone tailing us everywhere.' Angelica thought with a sigh. "That will be all." Angelica said waving the male away as he took notice of this and walked away awkwardly Angelica kept her gaze on Rashta "Lady Artina." Angelica said as Lady Artina nodded "Yes, My Lady." Lady Artina said and walked over to Rashta and the two noble ladies and told Rashta that Angelica would like to speak to her, soon they walked back and Rashta stood in front of Angelica.
"What did you need to speak to me about, Lady Angelica?" Rashta shyly asked as she was a bit hesitant.
"Why do you keep following me and Empress Navier around?" Angelica asked.
Rashta was startled at the sudden question and her cheeks flushed a bit red "What?" Rashta mumbled and Angelica stared at her "I'd prefer it if you didn't deny it. I'm sure you're also aware that we've been running into each other constantly, along with you running into Empress Navier all the time." Angelica said as Rashta sweat-dropped at this "Oh...It's because Duke Egri said that Her Majesty is a "Model Empress" and that My Lady is a "Model Empress figure" as well." Rashta said looking up at Angelica.
"I'm not from a noble family, so you know there's a lot I don't know. Baron Lante does instruct me, but I can't learn properly from just listening to explanations. And My Lady has learned how to be a model Empress figure and has learned etiquette and basic manner from Her Majesty." Rashta said fidgeting with her hands and Angelica looked at her confused "So what's your point?" Angelica asked. "I want to be more like you and Her Majesty! But I doubt you or Her Majesty will teach me etiquette and things like that...So I thought I could try and learn from you by observing you and Her Majesty from afar." Rashta said quickly her cheeks turning red "If you want to learn etiquette, then you should as Viscountess Verdi." Angelica said crossing her arms and Rashta looked up at her quickly "I promise I won't get in you or Her Majesty's way. So can't you both pretend you don't see me? I'll just watch you and Her Majesty from a distance and you won't even know I'm there. Please?" Rashta asked with a pleading tone. 'Nor me or Sister Navier has time to deal with her following us just so she can copy us and become Empress. She was copying everything Sister Navier does.' Angelica thought and narrowed her eyes at Rashta "I don't know why you think you need to be more like me or Empress Navier, Rashta. As you know us three are very different and Duke Egri also became friends with the person you are now. So I don't think you need to follow me around, same goes with Her Majesty." Angelica said
"Still!" Rashta said quickly but Angelica cut her off.
"If you follow me in a way that's not noticeable, then I can't stop you from doing that. But If me or Her Majesty do notice that you're following us, then I'll get the guards to send you far away from me. So don't follow me." Angelica said with a stern tone as she turned around walking away from Rashta with Lady Artina following after her as Rashta stared at Angelica's retreating figure '...Stupid tramp...I'll make sure to get rid of you and the stupid Empress.' Rashta thought.
'Keep testing me Rashta...And I will make you feel pain...' Angelica thought as she walked away with her bangs covering her eyes.
