It looks just like you." He said which made me jolt looking down worried "As I mentioned to you before, I can lend you the money you need." Duke Ergi said looking at me "H-How much can you lend me?" I mumbled turning my gaze onto him "As much as you need" Duke Ergi said, "Then...Can you lend me...1,000 crans?" I asked as Duke Ergi walked past me and sat down at a table pulling out a check and a pen, soon I followed him and sat down in front of him.
"I'll lend you 10,000 crans." he said as he wrote the check and handed it to me "Here." He said as I took the checks and looked at them before looking back at Duke Ergi "Thank you..." I mumbled my cheek turning red "It's going to become quite tiresome if you keep letting yourself get manipulated like that. So try and think of a way to shake him off." Duke Ergi said as I looked at him confused "Do you have any ideas on how I could do that?" I asked while Duke Ergi shook his head "No. I'm not sure what to do in this situation either. Still, don't be too discouraged." He said as I started to pout.
Soon, Duke Ergi stood up and walked over to the door not before turning to look at me "Ah. By the way. Aren't you curious to know whether the baby Viscount Lotteshu is raising...Is a boy or a girl?" Duke Ergi asked and soon walked out of the room leaving me to her own thoughts.

"My Lady! My Lady!" Diane said running to the room and running straight to me "Diane you can't just run into the room!" Countess Syliva exclaimed as I turned to Diane "What happened, Diane?" I asked as Diane took a breath to calm down "A lot has happened! First Duke Ergi had given Rashta 10,000 crans! Next, I heard that Grand Duke Kaufman argued with His Majesty over Rashta's baby, while the Empress was there and Prince Heinrey had left back to the Western Kingdom. Lastly, Duchess Tuania left the Empire with Viscount Landre after the judge ruled in favor of the Duke because of Viscount Landre's incident." Diane said as Cecilia and Countess Syliva looked surprised. "All of that happened over these few days?" I asked and Diane nodded "I wonder how Her Majesty is holding up, I know Prince Heinrey and her were close friends when he stayed in the palace." Countess Syliva said, "But what about the rat? She has Duke Ergi on her side and can manipulate her way into high society and ruin someone's reputation." Diane said as they turned to Cecilia who chuckled "Why don't we set a trap for the little rat? We can ask Her Majesty to help us plan a tea party and invite all nobles to it and invite...Viscount Lotteshu's daughter..." Cecilia said and I thought about it 'If I recall Navier did plan a tea party but it was around the time of divorce. But it is a good idea too.' I thought. "That's a good idea Cecilia but let us wait and set a different trap." I said and soon a knock filled the room making Diane walk over to see who it was "My Lady, it is Countess Eliza. She is here on business for Her Majesty. Shall I let her in?" Diane asked turning to me and I nodded, soon Diane opened the door and Countess Eliza walked in and bowed to me "Hello, Lady Angelica." Countess Eliza said as I smiled "Hello, Countes Eliza. What brought you here?" I asked as Countess Eliza lifted herself up and looked at me "I had told Her Majesty this, and since you are like a sister to her it seemed right to tell you. I heard that Lord Kosair will be coming to the capital soon" Countess Eliza said.
