119: Clock

0 0 0

Give me one minute,
just one to explain everything that arose.
Nothing too brash or too explicit,
in war they say anything goes.

One minute of your time,
that is all I am asking.
To stay by your side,
as time seems everlasting.

But that seems impossible nowadays,
since you cannot sit still.
You are quick to get away
since you got time to kill.

One minute you decide to go,
go to wherever it suits you.
As always wanting for you to know
what goes around comes for you too.

One minute you decide to stay,
like that will make me change.
Pretend that everything is okay,
like nothing ever feels strange.

Your time is up,
you have reached your time limit.
It is time to give it up,
since you have wasted your only minute.
