Can't help but wonder,
if you still remember.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
but not having you is making me deader.

Wish we could try again,
give another arrow for cupid,
wishing we were more than friends
making me feel stupid.

Finding ourselves at a random place,
you say "Hey, you, nice to see you again."
I say as I try to keep up the pace
"Hey, you, where have you been?"

We could be a thing,
you never know unless you try.
We could be anything,
you're too good to deny.

Hitting it off on the first night,
seeing the sparks on your eyes.
Slow dancing in sync until twilight,
still happy that you're still mine.

And you'd say "Hey, you, I had a good time."
I'd say "Thank you, so do I."
Want to see you again sometime
maybe we'll do in another life.
