Seeing all my friends from home
from the safety of our computers
did little to ease the lone
and the uncertainty of the future.Bleached my hair blonde
because there was no one to show,
isolation did us wrong
and encouraged us to go slow.A relief at first,
online classes did much to led.
Came in clutch it our worst,
it became nothing short of dread.Early morning underneath the sky,
books helped to soothe my worries.
For a while it made time fly,
and with a lot of ease.Camera filled with photographs,
snapshots of things invisible post apocalypse.
Moments captured on behalf
on our post unconsciousness. Now I wait in two summer heats,
waiting for the world to cease from its hell.
Chilling with my lofi beats,
waiting for everything to turn out well.
