This life this burden he carried
through waves of pain and laugher.
Now all he wants is to get married,
live his happily ever after.

Have a best friend and a lover,
someone to go out on constant dates.
Someone to snuggle underneath the covers,
have the literal definition of a soulmate.

Somebody to cure the lonely nights,
dinner ready on the table.
A body to curl up all right
looking past the labels.

Kiss underneath the rain pour
like old movies do.
He is never bored
because being close is always a mood.

Knowing you are love
as you walk through that door.
You are always loved
that is a sign unable to ignore.

He is growing up too fast,
too fast to ignore the signs.
He has to move on from the past,
leave it behind to make his stars align.
