An awkward silence appeared in between them for some time.
A/N: [We all knew he liked Jungkook long before he told anyone. Maybe even before he knew himself. We could see it in his eyes, the way he looked at him. If Jungkook was the sun, then he was a child seeing it set for the first time. It was obvious even to us, as young as we were, that, that sparkle in his eyes when Jungkook spoke was the kind you wait your whole life for. Jk: *gulps* Are you finished saying all these?
Tae: *nodded as yes*
Jk: Fine. Now listen to me. Carefully *said sternly*
Tae: *gulped hard*

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but Jungkook stopped him, holding his palm up like a white flag.
Jk: You need to understand that everyone else has left. So now I don't believe people are going to stay.
With Taehyung -
He listened to him carefully and patiently. He understood what he tried to explain to him.
But, Taehyung grab his hands and make him look at him. Everything is tangled; he hate him and he love him. He's noble and he's ruthless. He's brave and weak.
Tae: If you only knew how much those little moments with you mattered to me. You wouldn't have said this. Even the shortest conversation with you makes me happy.
Jk: It's always easy to say. But it can never be the same later on.
Tae: Do you believe in fate?
Jk: Not really.
Tae: Me neither, but now I'm starting to.
His pulse quickens at the irresistible drop in his tone.
Jk: Why is that?
He fixed Jungkook's hair in his grip so his head is angled up.
Tae: I would have found you no matter what, Jungkook. It was a matter of when not if.
Jk: *shakes his head* We are just friends, Taehyung. You are forgetting that.
Tae: Should friends look at each other the way we do?
Jk: Like what?
Tae: Like you put the star in my constellation of life. Friends don't look at each other like that. But we were trying to act like we can't be more than that. That's it. I won't ask for your answer now. I just want one thing from you.
Jk: What is it?
Tae: Can you please come back? *teary eyes* I want you back, Jungkook. I am not able to stay in the office all my own. I'm missing your presence there, Jungkook. No one is there to look after me, to talk to me. Please, Jungkook. Please *sniffing*
Jk: *took a deep breath* I need to think about that. I need some time.
Tae: It's ok. You can have it all, but please come back fast. I can't live in there like that.
Jungkook looked away from him as his eyes became teary by seeing Taehyung like that. His heart hurts seeing Taehyung crying like that infront of him. Although, he has already forgave him long ago but he has that ego of treating him like same, but now he couldn't.
Jk: You can go now. I will let you know if I change my mind.
Tae: *nodded and left*
As soon as Taehyung left from his room. Jungkook went and closed the door and sat while hugging his knees. His tears started flowing down as he started crying badly.
Jk: Why? Wh-why? Why did y-you say that? I was getting over y-you, but now you ruined it completely *hiccups* What will I do now? *sniffing* I can't love you, Taehyung. I- I can't *sniffing* I can't love someone who has hurt me intentionally. I can't.
He was crying badly but then his granny knocked on his door and he opened it after wiping his tears out.
Granny: Kook, please agree with him and join in his company again. Please, Kook. This is the last request from your granny, Kook. Please *pleading eyes*
Jk: No, granny. Don't say it like that. I need time, granny. I will let you both know. Please don't do this granny, please *hurt eyes*
Granny: *sighs* Don't let my hopes down, Kook. You know I have no one but only you in this world. Please understand that. I'm going, I'm going. Think about it *she left*
Jk: Why will I do now? Mom? Dad? Tell me what should I do now? *bite lips* I can't let granny's hopes down, also I can't work with hi- *sighs* I don't know. Please mom help me out *tears flowing continuously*
Time skips at night -
Jungkook think about the whole matter carefully with his calm mind and took his decision.
He took his phone and called Taehyung.
In the call -
Tae: Oh, Jungkook.
Jk: Hm. I- I took my decision.
Tae: *gulps hard* Oh, is it?
Jk: Hm.
Tae: But first tell me, did you eat anything?
Jk: Hm.
Tae: Ok, now y-you can say.
Jk: *sighs* I- I will j-join again.
Tae: *silence*
Jk: Hello?
Tae: *silence*
Jk: Hello? Taehyung? Can you hear me? Are you on the line? What happened to him?
Tae: Say it once more.
Jk: *frustrated sighs*

Jk: I will join again.
Tae: OH MY GOD, JUNGKOOK! *shouts*
Jk: What the! *took his phone a little far from his ear* Why are you shouting like that? Have you gone mad?
Tae: Ofcourse, I have gone mad. Mad for you, Jungkook. Oh my God, I'm so fvcking happy right now that I can't imagine.
Jk: *sighs* Fine! I will join from tomorrow. Bye. I'm sleepy. And- go to bed too. Don't stay up late *cold voice "
Tae: Ok. I will go to bed early. Sleep well. Bye.
Both cut the call.
