Jungkook cut the call from his side with a "hm" as a reply to Tae's good night greets.
With Taehyung -
He kept his phone beside his bed and lay down on the bed while facing at the ceiling.
Tae: I am hell bound, and you are heaven sent. You're the first boy I ever looked at and thought, I want to kiss him. I want to own him. I wanted you to look at me the way you look at your fantasy book- with a mixture of awe, anticipation and warmth.
He then let out a sigh and closed his eyes to fall asleep with the boxy smile on his face.
Time skips to next morning -
Jungkook got ready and went for his office as usual. He came in the office made Tae's strawberry shake and started doing his work which was left yesterday because Tae didn't let him do it as he was getting late to go back home.
In the office -
Jungkook was working and suddenly Jimin came out of nowhere and jumped on to the desk which has made Jungkook startled.
Jk: Omoo *startled*
JM: *laughs* It's me, Jungkook. It's me *laughs*
Jk: Jimin hyung? My gosh *sighs*
JM: Why? What did you thought? Taehyung? *teasing smile*
Jk: N-no. Why would I thought of him? I- I didn't *gulps*
JM: Ok, fine.
Jk: Have a seat. Why are you standing?
JM: Yeah yeah *sat on the chair*
Jk: So? Why are you so early today?
JM: Oh, it's just I wanted to talk to you for awhile that's why I came before Tae arrives here, because once he arrive he won't let me talk to you.
Jk: Why? Why would he won't? Anyone can talk to me. It's nothing with him.
JM: *shakes his head* You are not anyone to him, Jungkook. He won't let me, and I don't want to die this fast *giggles*
Jk: Whatever. Say, what you want to talk about.
JM: So.. how is your new joining going?
Jk: Same as before.
JM: Don't lie, Jungkook. My Tae has changed a lot. Like, a hell lot.
Jk: *nodded hesitantly* Maybe.
JM: Did you gave your answer to him?
Jk: No.
JM: So.. if you don't mind then, uh.. what is your answer? No no, I won't tell him anything. Don't worry about that.
Jk: No no, it's ok. I trust you, hyung. But-- *pause*
JM: But?
Jk: I don't have any answer to that question.. till now.
JM: *sighs* It's ok, Jungkook. But, let me tell you something, can I?
Jk: Yes, sure.
Jimin took a deep breath and started.
JM: Do you know, there are four types of hearts you will meet in this life. The one you shouldn't love, but do. The one you shouldn't love, but don't. The one you do love with the bad timing. And then, them. Whom you will love till your death took you from them.
Jk: I know you are talking about him. But you know what, he sometimes acts so terrible.
JM: He isn't a terrible person. He is simply lost and you were just another step to him finding himself. But I'm truly sorry, you got hurt in the process of it all.
Jungkook got lost in his thoughts. He lost words to speak about. He has nothing to say to Jimin now, because he knows Jimin is right.
JM: Jungkook?
Jk: Do you know what have I felt the moment I saw him in my apartment after many months?
JM : What?
Jk: I saw him, and I couldn't differentiate between my heart breaking and my heart fluttering.
JM: That's where it is. You know the best love is unexpected. You don't just pick someone and cross your fingers it will work out. You meet them by fate and it's an instant connection, and the chemistry share is way above your head. You just talk and notice the way their lips curve when they smile or the colour of their eyes and all at once you know you're either lucky or screwed. No matter what happens, you will always find your way back to the person who is meant to hold your heart. That's just the way it works.
Jimin end his sentence with the last reassuring smile.
Jk: What if when the two points are destined to touch but the universe didn't let them?
JM: If two points are destined to touch, the universe will always find a way to make the connection, even when all hope seems to be lost. Certain ties cannot be broken. They define who we are, and who we can become. Across space, across time, among paths we cannot predict, nature always finds the way. The universe is always speaking to us. Sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more.
Jk: I don't know about all these things. I just want to be happy. And I'll be happy when love worth risking.
JM: You're wrong. What's meant to be yours is already making its way to you. What was never yours is starting to flee from you. With time, it will all make sense. For now, bear the confusion and focus on living fully in the present. Don't let your whole life be "I'll be happy when". Be happy now.
