Draco surprisingly was not looking forward to potion class. While he loved his teacher he hated some of the students. Dealing with the boys in the golden trio was just too much. Though Hermione might not be too bad.

Draco sat in his normal spot next to Blaise with Pansy and Theo behind him and Vincent and Gregory in front.

The table next to him had Neville and Hermione and behind them was Weasley and potter. Dean Thomas and Seamus finnigan in front of Neville.

The taller of the two boys Dean Thomas was leaning back in his chair while Seamus finnigan was hunched towards the desk.

Draco wasn't exactly sure why they did it but it happened all the time.

He turned his attention to Neville a blond boy with a chubby face. Draco felt horrible for the way he treated him. His family had already done so much to his. Neville looked up and glanced at him hazel eyes meeting silver and both boys quickly looked away.

Professor Snape walked into class his robes flowing behind him as he strode to the front clearing his throat for their attention.

They were told that they would be writing an essay on Shrinking Solution and then they would brew it after. Draco remembered that potion it wasn't too complicated and he should be able to do it no problem.

The class was quiet which was strange normally there was commotion but Draco was sure that it was quiet because he wasn't starting something.

Should he? He looked over at finnigan who was already looking at him. His brown hair was cut short and he was smirking. Draco then remembered that he was prone to making explosions and grimaced. He did not want to be blown up.

Neville wasn't an option maybe Weasley but Draco really wasn't in the mood. He turned back to his paper.

The Gryffindors weren't as annoying as he once thought they were. He itched for something to happen. Anything. Maybe then Severus would stop staring at him like he was waiting for another breakdown.

Draco felt his face heat from the memory. He tried to push it aside and focus on his assignment in front of him.

He was extremely distracted. He had gotten a lot done but he kept looking around the room. He had made eye contact with Finnigan at least five times now and Draco was getting embarrassed because he wasn't trying to stare at him he just didn't know who else to look at.

Class ended and Draco almost cried from relief he packed his stuff up as fast as he could without messing up the organization of it.

He walked out and was suddenly stopped by a voice. "Do you have a staring problem?" It wasn't finnigan like he would have thought but Thomas.

Draco turned abruptly to the tall lanky boy. His skin was dark but not like Blaise and his hair was far curlier. "Excuse me?" Was Thomas jealous. Draco didn't remember much about their relationship but he knew that they were always close and hanging out. Where they dating?

"You were staring at Seamus the whole time." He stated crossing his arms.

He wasn't scary but Draco could tell he wasn't happy about Draco's eye wandering to his friend. What was he supposed to say.

"I wasn't trying to every time I lifted my head I made eye contact with someone. It's not like I was purposefully trying to get him to look at me."

Thomas huffed and rolled his eyes mumbling a whatever and left leaving Draco standing there by himself in front of the potions room. He hurried away.
