Draco really didn't want Harry to go. He had a surprisingly strong grip on Harry's arm. He tried to pull away but Draco was relentless.
"Draco you have to let go I'll be fine I promise." Harry told the blond.
"Don't lie. People die during these things." Draco knew they did he watched it happen. Last time around Cedric Diggory was one of them.
"Draco really I'll be fine. It's just a maze." He moved Draco's hand from his arm and squeezed it.
"Ok fine. Fine. At least take this before you go then. I got it for you for good luck." He handed Harry a necklace. It was simple and had a crystal hanging from it.
"Thank Draco." He put it over his head and tucked it into his shirt. Draco didn't tell him but he put a protection charm on it.
"Good luck Harry." He squeezed his hand and let Harry leave.
Draco and the rest of the students were watching and waiting. Draco was freaking out. The charm was strong enough to stop a killing curse but only once Draco couldn't find a stronger one that wasn't obvious.
Then people started yelling. Harry was coming through the maze Diggory to. Except he wasn't dead he was perfectly alive. He looked a little freaked out but had a smile on his face.
Draco no longer felt like he was going to pass out. Harry was ok and so was Diggory so it was a win.
