It's me

Loud footsteps of running are heard as you look everywhere for Stephanie, you hoped she was okay and that this was just a dream even though you knew it wasn't. You were in your locker room having just gotten dressed after showering from your match against Chyna when you hear a loud knock on your locker room door being met with the terrified and concerned face of Shane McMahon who told you that steph was missing and they needed any help that would be given to find her immediately agreeing before he even finished running out of the room and looking around for her mostly on your own in between looking with shane, Shamrock Ken, Vince McMahon, X-pac, Triple H, and many other wrestlers looking all over the building getting more worried and scared as the hours passed not knowing what happened to your dear friend, going down in the boiler room with shamrock ken in the long search splitting up stopping while looking around when you hear barely audible and scared cries immediately heading downstairs feeling your heart break and swell in relief seeing stephanie but very traumatized and scared backing away while on the ground before realizing it was you. "Steph it's me, it's okay you're safe it's me" she breaks down crying loudly while hugging you before leading her out of the boiler room yelling at ken that you found her and to find vince, you take her to your locker room as everyone is trying to talk to steph and yelling for her father and brother scaring and overwhelming her as you gently sit her on the couch before closing the door to the room covering her trembling body with the blanket before slowly wiping her face with wipes and tissues cleaning the smudged and stained makeup off her tear soaked, rosy, and traumatized expression filled face pulling her to you and holding her in a hug as she sniffles having her drink cold water feeling your pounding heart calm down as she catches her breath laying her head on your shoulder. You stare and smile teary eyed at the moment being shared between the three mcmahons "I could never thank you for helping her Y/N" you simply shake your head at vince as everyone else stands in the doorway watching the conversation, steph hugs you tightly with her head on the crook of your neck feeling her warm breath against the corner of your neck which sends your heart into a quivering spiral before the three leave and head home texting her when she got home and always checking on her when you could smiling when you begin to hear her bubbly laughter in the hallway again, seeing her kind smile when she would look at or talk to you, and how she became attached at the hip with you realizing after the first few weeks since the incident the feelings that began to bloom for her knowing this was going to be a rollercoaster not only if anyone close to her somehow found out but especially when you would tell her.
