Feeling blue

You stare at the wall in a daze as you feel anxiety, dread, mental draining, exhaustion, and emotional burnout all at once feeling the depression just trap you. It felt like you were suffocating and drowning at the same time and no matter how much your head burst through the water you still couldn't get a gasp of air at all, suddenly you are pulled out of your thoughts when you hear a voice "What's wrong dear? You okay?" you turn to look at your boyfriend Finn who had just got home from training and his match to find you staring at the wall with tears pouring down your face which instantly his mind somehow knowing something was wrong and it made his heart sink as he walks and crouches in front of you watching you sigh and shake your head feeling your mask that you kept on crack and finally shatter. You shake with quiet sobs leading him to pull you to him and just hold you tightly "Hey I'm here it's okay you got me you're not alone" he caresses your back as the sobs grew louder with your head in the crook of his neck as he whispered to you "It's okay my love just let it out I'm here and I'll stay with you, you don't have to tell me what's going on if it's too much" you truly felt safe and loved in his arms as you slowly felt exhaustion flow over you like a warm blanket before you go to the bathroom and splash cold water on your face especially for your puffy eyes, "I feel so low...my depression is just sucking the life out of me and I can't seem to stop it" he kisses your forehead as he listens to the words that poured out of you from your soul that you kept hidden. You release a long held breath you didn't realize you were holding until you had told finn everything of your depression, anxiety, insomnia, crying spells, and panic attacks feeling his heart being grabbed then being slowly and painfully squeezed as he caresses your face placing delicate kisses on your face as he lightly sways with you in his lap slowly feeling yourself fall asleep as you listen to his soothing heartbeat "Thanks for helping me baby" he shakes his head as you feel sleep begin to take it's hold after you get under the covers smiling when he kisses you sweetly "I'll always be by your side when you're blue" you smile as you fall asleep on his chest.
