Chapter 23

Lloyd's pov:

    I woke up, I feel..better! I sat up from the couch. Nelson might not be awake by this time. I slowly stood up and made my way to the door. Of course, it's locked... I looked around to see if there's any other ways to exit the house. Right! I should make a note for Nelson too, don't want him to panic or do other things. I saw a piece of paper on the counter.

    "Wow..Uh- How convenient??"

     I whispered. And...there was a pen in a pen holder. I took one and wrote to Nelson.

     'Thank you Nelson for letting me stay for the night. As I promise, one of us ninjas would come visit you sometime, you can bring your friends too if you like. From, your friend, the Green Ninja'

     I also signed it. So that he knows it's me and not someone who pretended to be me. Or is it just me who thinks so??

     "I should get going."

     I found a window and sneak out of it, I closed it after too of course. I walked back to the monastery, luckily, it has an elevator now! I sigh, opening the gate.

     "No one's awake yet, as usual."

     I said, walking into the hallway. But then, I heard talking. I peaked from the kitchen and there were everyone in the room, Jay, Kai, Zane, Nya, Cole, Harumi and even Garmadon! First, why were they up so early?? Second, Garmadon?? Third, GARMADON?! I'm overreacting- I tried to sneak my way past the kitchen, to get to my bedroom. But then...

     "OH MY FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER!!!!"

     Kai yelled, running towards me. I yelped, kinda scared and..uh- weirded out?

     "YOU'RE BACK LLOYD!! PLEASE DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"

     Nya also followed Kai. Kai hugged me, almost choking me-

     "Kai, come on! We all want to hug Lloyd!"

     Jay whined. Wow, they're taking turn to hug me?? I should make some quick money with this actually-

      "Fine fine, Nya, your turn.."

      Nya swooped me into a tight hug. Her hug was even worse then Kai's.. I can't breathe.

      "Br-breath please-"

      "Oops, sorry!"

       Nya stopped and Jay and Cole also took turn to hug me. Cole's was always the best at hugs. I assumed that Zane and Harumi would past. But Zane kept his smile, with Pixal too. But what's even more surprising is...Garmadon also hugged me-

       "Uh-..."

      I whispered. But somehow it got into Garmadon's earshot.

      "Shut up."

      He said. He broke the hug and sat back down. Even though he's an Oni now, his hug was just like old times.

      "Lloyd, you haven't said anything yet-"

      Jay noticed. Maybe because everything happended so fast that I can't even reply!

      "Sorry. But, why did you all need to hug me??"

      I asked. They all looked at each other and back to me.

      "Duh! You were gone, possibly dead, possibly missing for a night! You expect us to just see you and say 'Whats up'??"

      Kai waves his hand around as he talks. The others nodding after.

      "Well, I wasn't really- gone for a night! I still texted! And called you guys."
