Chapter 20

Minho POV
It's been two days and i am feeling impatient. So i walked up to our head maid Mrs. Aria to ask if anyone has applied to the maid job. "Hey auntie has anyone applied to the job?", i asked her.
Now you might be wondering why i am so soft with her. Well that's because she is like my mother. She is the house maid who took care of me when my parents passed away. She also saved me from my uncle's shit hole. So to support her, i let her work here in the house.
"Yes dear. Some boy named Han Jisung has applied but i don't know if we can trust him. He looks too innocent for a normal person", she replied. "Oh don't worry auntie. I've met that boy before", i said smirking. Aria came near me and flicked my forehead. "Minho i know what that smirk means ok?", she said eyeing me suspiciously. "Ouch that hurts", i said whining like a 3 year old. Shocking right? I feel embarrassed too not gonna lie. "don't worry my only plan is to give you an in-law", i said to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Yah! Don't traumatize that poor boy", she said hitting my butt with her broom. I laughed and waved at her. She also shook her head and kissed the top of my head.
I really do love Mrs. Aria. She's a very supporting person and never left my side.

Jisung POV

Yesterday i got a call from the base that i got accepted which was odd because i thought i'd have like a test before getting a job. I mean stray kids is like the biggest mafia group so they most definitely will do something right?
But i shrugged it off since who cares? But today is the day. Today i go to the base and officially start my work there tomorrow. In the email they send me. It said that a van will pick me up from my apartment today. Which is cool.
I packed my stuff and waited at the front. While i was waiting, out of no where Conner appeared. "Conner! Over here!", i called to him. He immediately spun around and ran up to me. I jumped on to him and gave him a tight hug. He hugged me back. "i've missed you. Boss told me that you got fired so i was worried about you. How are you?", he asked me patting my head. "I am doing okay. Right now i am waiting for a van to pick me up for my new job", i said and gave him a quick peck on the his cheek.
He blushed. "So, where and what is your job?", he asked. "Ok now, please don't panic", i said. "Ok?", he replied. After i explained everything he hugged me again. "Please be careful ok? Who knows what will happen", he said. I nodded and reassured him that everything will be fine.
Just then the van came. We looked at each other sadly. "Don't worry ok? We'll meet again", Conner said to me and kissed me making me blush light pink. I nodded and bid my goodbyes to him and got in the van. It felt happy to see Conner again and to know he's safe after the incident at the restaurant. But still i never got that spark in my heart when he kissed me. But as always i ignored it.

A/N - wow this is my worst chapter yet.
But the next one will be much loooooonger and better.
