(Y/n)'s POV

"CLEAR!" (Y/n) yelled before blasting the motor with electricity from a shard of fulgurite. A blinding, white flash temporarily blinded her, but the slight hum she heard was satisfying enough to make it worth it. However, when she turned to Nya to see if it had worked, she saw only a shake of the head, telling her more than she needed to know. It still wasn't enough power.

"I can still give her half of my power source, I really don't mind." Zane offered again, but (Y/n) shook her head.

"No Zane. We've already talked about this, if you give even a bit of your power it could create huge consequences for you...I want Pixal back, but not at the cost of you. You're far too precious to me to even think of doing that to you." (Y/n) told him with a determined look to which a burst of warmth came from him, but she ignored it and instead looked at the motor they had been trying to power for poor Pixal who had been offline since the tower fell.
This was the only motor in Jay's parents' Junkyard that seemed to be in working order, but it was still far too small and didn't have enough power to awaken and keep Pixal running, which is why (Y/n) had been trying to power it up with a shard of fulgurite from her bag which allowed her to use lightning, but it was hopeless. There was no way that tiny motor could power Pixal. (Y/n) grumbled and felt her feathers ruffle in aggravation before a gentle hand was placed on her shoulders. She jumped at the feelings of concern before turning around to find Edna looking at her with a worried smile

"(Y/n), sweetie, maybe you should take a break. You've been at this since early in the morning...Pixal won't be going anywhere and if you keep putting so much energy into that rock it might burst!" Edna chuckled through her probing concern and (Y/n) sighed, feeling bad for causing her worry.

"Yeah, maybe you're right Edna. If I add any more power to this fulgurite I might end up-" (Y/n) started before realizing something, causing her to smile ecstatically. "THAT'S IT!"
Before anyone could say anything she quickly grabbed the fulgurite and rushed over to the slot on Pixal's chest. It was super small and narrow, but if she carved the crystal just right she could make it work! It's risky, this could break her systems if it's even a tiny bit too rough on the edges, but maybe all of the electrical power I've stored in there can power her! And if not, just add a dash of my powers, and voila! We could have Pixal with us once more!
Before long she had cut the rough material into a small, thin oval with her claws which was as smooth as she could get it on all sides. Once she was satisfied with the look and size of it she channeled more of her power into the small crystal, causing the stone to vibrate slightly on her palm as a bright glow started to emit from it. Once satisfied, she turned toward the other three before handing the oval stone to Nya.

"Would this work Nya? Do ya think it's small enough to fit in there?" (Y/n) asked as she pointed to the little slot on Pixal's chest. Carefully, Nya took the stone and started to examine it before gasping, shock going through her as she turned to (Y/n).

"(Y/n), are you sure you want to give her this? It has so much power and the material isn't exactly orthodox for an android-"

"But could it work?" (Y/n) interrupted, eager. For a moment Nya said nothing before nodding.

"...Yes. I think it could."

"Then let's give it a shot." Nya nodded again at this before placing the stone disk by the slot. To all of their surprise, it fit and was immediately drawn into Pixal's system. Not even a second after it had disappeared Pixal's eyes shot open, revealing bright green irises, much to all of their relief. (Y/n) felt as joy and accomplishment flitted through the air like sunbeams as she hugged Pixal tightly, much to the android's confusion, but she barely felt it through her own relief. I did it! She's okay, she's really okay!
