(Y/n)'s POV
The young woman stared at the monastery as it slowly crept closer and closer to her with growing uncertainty. She had no idea what this place was like and felt a little uncomfortable around the ninja. That being said, she also knew they weren't bad people. If they were, they wouldn't have offered her help, nor have brought her somewhere where she could heal safely. And even though their emotions were strong and a little overwhelming, they didn't feel dangerous, just confused and concerned and a tad immature. That being said, she had a lot of questions for them that she wanted answers to. Why had they treated her with so much hostility? Why did they hang a child on a sign? How did they find out her name? Oh! Speaking of which...
"By the way Cole," She started as she turned towards the black ninja who hummed to let her know he was listening. "How did you know my name was (Y/n)? Did you find someone who was close to me or..?"
"Nah, nothing like that. We tried to find your phone or wallet so that we could call someone and tell them about what happened, but instead, we found those books and we saw your name in the crystal book. That is your name right?" He asked her suddenly as a flare of panic and uncertainty swirled through him, causing her to almost jump up due to the suddenness of it, but caught herself and instead tried to give him a reassuring smile.
"I think so yeah, but I was just curious is all..." And a little disappointed She added in her mind. Though she had expected as much, she was a bit bummed at the fact that they hadn't found a way to contact a family member or a friend of hers. She had hoped that there was maybe a clue in her bag that they found that she had somehow missed, but it appears she still has nothing in regards to her past.
She let out another sigh as she planned on what to do next. It was apparent that feeling the emotions of others was going to be a challenge as it almost completely blocks out her own feelings and makes it hard for her to think. And that's not counting the fact that she has no idea who she is or where she's from! Because of this, she hoped that they would be alright with letting her stay for a little while, but she wouldn't be surprised if they kicked her out, she was a complete stranger to them after all...
She was jolted out of her thoughts by the dragons landing in their den that was attached to the monastery. (Y/n) looked around in pure wonder at the place. It wasn't fancy or anything like that, but it was new and very cool to her and she still wasn't completely over the fact that there were dragons here and that she had just ridden on one. Three of the ninja were quick to jump down from their dragons, but Cole and (Y/n) struggled a bit as (Y/n) was on Cole's lap and Cole didn't want to accidentally cause the girl harm by jumping off of the dragon before she was up and ready to jump down herself. They quickly figured it out though, and once they were all safely on the ground the ninja started to lead the way up to the Monastery."Don't you want to lean on one of us or something? I mean, you did hit your head really badly." Jay asked nervously as (Y/n) tripped over her own feet as they walked up the stairs. Cole thankfully caught her though before she hit the ground, but his emotions of worry and guilt were so strong she almost leaped away from him as she nervously shook her hands back and forth.
"Nah, don't worry about it. I only tripped because my legs have fallen asleep from the long ride, and to be honest, I can barely feel my wounds, so it's like they're not even there!" She said with a nervous smile as she sweatdropped and gave them a thumbs up. This left all four of the ninja lost for words at her care-free behavior, unsure of how to handle it when a loud noise came from the top of the stairs, causing (Y/n) to suddenly dart up the stairs and peek through the pair of large, red doors that lead to the courtyard.
There, in the couryardt, she saw a girl with short, black hair dressed in red doing an obstacle course. She watched in amazement as the girl flipped around throughout the course, dodging all of the dummies with incredible ease. She didn't even look like she was dodging, rather, she looked like a dancer!
