I will kill you, Yooncheol. What have you done?!
Yoonna glanced around, then back at the building in front of her, the name of the building displayed proudly by the side of a small fountain, lit up with LED lights.
CTechnology.
Such a familiar name, isn't it?
CTechnology, widely known for their wins in gamings from the senior to junior teams and their ability to fix and create gadgets. Not only that, Yoonna was once offered a chance to enter their company as a hacker. Unfortunately for her, it was a good opportunity at the wrong time.
She sighed, internally cursing at her useless brother who thought it would be a good idea to submit forms for interviews with a few companies without her acknowledgement.
Fortunately for her, Kun and Hendery were busy with the cafe and her shift starts in the evening, giving her more time to travel for her interview.
Kun would have high hopes for me to pass. I don't need more pressure to enter a company. It's useless. Why do I bother coming for it then?
Ughh, fine. For the sake of future impressions.
Yoonna sighed again, stepping into the grand door of the building.
"Miss, how can I help you?" The woman at the counter greeted her politely when she approached.
Yoonna greeted back and fished out her phone. "May I know where to go for my interview?"
She showed her the letter sent to her. The woman nodded, inserting a few details into her computer before giving her the directions. Yoonna thanked her and was brought to her destination by another worker, guiding her through the familiar yet unfamiliar ground.
The interview lasted longer than she expected. By the time she finished the interviews with two to three companies, it was already lunch time. She let out a tired huff while strolling towards the cafe, deciding to have her lunch at the cafe instead and play some games before her shift.
The bell above rang, signalling her arrival as Hendery perked up from one of the customer's seats, smiling when he saw her. Yoonna simply waved at him and went to the staff room, throwing her bag on the bench and walked out.
"Exactly 1 hour early, I see," Hendery was already back at the cashier and Yoonna nodded.
She pulled out her purse, giving him the money. "1 hour."
The boy raised an eyebrow at her. Nonetheless, he took the money and hung up a seat for her.
"You game?" He questioned as he followed her to her seat.
Yoonna hummed, "A bit."
"I will leave it to you first, gotta work," Hendery bidded and left her on her own. Yoonna let out a relieved sigh that he wouldn't watch her play and flopped onto her seat, grabbing the headphones situated on the computer and putting it on.
"Time to kill you," she said to no one in particular as she logged on into her account.
It was late at night, Yoonna just finished her shift and bidded Kun a goodbye who insisted that she should be heading back home. She stretched her arms, pulling her muscles to lessen the stiffness and paced towards her apartment.
The streets were dimmed since the area didn't have any lampposts built. She relayed on the flashlight of her phone, occasionally stopping when she walked by some grocery stores.
Her phone dinged. She glanced down from the cartoons of milk displayed on the rack towards her phone.
An email was sent to her, she sighed at the content.
This is why I hate interviewing for huge companies.
Hello,
We truly regret that you were not chosen to join our company. We hope that we can meet you again. Have a good day.
Thank you for applying.

"Whatever," she mumbled. She simply took a strawberry milk and headed for check out, not expecting to bump into someone at the other side.
The other was wearing all black, his hands tucked inside his pocket. He let out an annoyed huff. "Watch where you are going."
Rude.
Yoonna rolled her eyes after the male harshly shoved her by her shoulder, making her stumble back and was held by someone behind her to her feet.
"Are you okay?" A calmer and gentle voice asked her from behind. She hurriedly stood up straight, turning around to thank the boy.
Nice and defined features. Where have I seen him before?
He has a short haircut, his hair dyed dark blue. An oversized T-shirt cocooned his figure tucked into an old jeans. He smiled down at her, checking if she was alright.
"Thank you, I'm fine." She gave him a small smile.
"Sorry for his behaviour, he is always moody at night," the male apologised once more and scanned her.
"I'm Renjun. I've never met you around, are you new here?"
Yoonna shook her head and glanced back at him for a while, thinking of how she should respond to him. The boy that bumped into her appeared beside Renjun, cutting the words that were about to form back into her throat.
"Renjun, let's go. We don't need to talk to her."
Renjun furrowed his brows, being pulled away from the place. He looked back to Yoonna, who didn't spare a glance at them and was paying for her cartoon of milk.
"Never talk to her, she is a stalker," he heard his friend mumble. Renjun stopped his tracks, causing the boy who was pulling him to stop with him.
"Haechan, you never met her, how do you know?"
Haechan scoffed, "This is the fourth time I saw her around the neighbourhood."
Renjun raised an eyebrow at him, who shrugged and pointed somewhere. "See, she even lives in the same block with us."
"You are the one being delusional," Renjun removed his arms from Haechan's grasp and walked away, speed walking towards their shared house. Haechan let out a whine and ran after him.
They entered the elevator, which Yoonna was also waiting for. Haechan occasionally gave her a few death glares under his hoodie while Renjun smiled at her.
Yoonna ignored the male who was glaring at her through his hood and returned Renjun's smile, pressing on her level.
"See, she even lives on the same floor as us," her ears caught the hooded guy whispering to Renjun who smacked away his hands.
Childish.
Yoonna rolled her eyes as she stepped out of the elevator, heading to the end of the left corridor where her house located. Haechan scoffed, raising a fist up wanting to punch the girl and Renjun sighed, walking towards their house that was opposite of Yoonna's.
"Enough, Haechan."
