"Amazing, now I have to go on a shift that I don't remember signing up for?"

Yoonna stared at her sister in disbelief when she told her about the part-time job she applied for a few months ago, which wasn't in her memories.

"Yoonna, it's just a gaming café. You just have to bring food and drinks over to the customers after Hendery prepares it."

"But that doesn't mean I wanted to," Yoonna refused. She hadn't gotten her memories back, thus it was hard for Yoonsu and Yooncheol to explain to her about the current events happening to her.

"Na, it is Kun's café, the café you were being injured in. I'm sure after the incident, he had strengthened the security. Taeyong suggested that you take some time to visit there for work just so you could remember some stuff."

Yoonna was unconvinced. She was determined that her memories were right and that she had just been kicked out from her first team she joined after graduation. Being taken into CTechnology might be Yuta and Winwin's help, which she wasn't too sure if they did apply with her.

"Please, just go for once. If you don't feel comfortable after visiting there once, I won't force you again."

Yoonsu pleaded, holding onto her hands.

Yoonna groaned, facepalming herself after she realized she couldn't reject her sister's puppy eyes.

"Fine, I'll go tomorrow."

"Yes!"

.

Yoonna stepped into the café, the doorbell sounding above her head as she scanned the area. She felt a familiarity towards this place, but it still looked unfamiliar to her.

"Oh, Yoonna, you came today. I was thinking of letting you have some rest instead of coming over since you know, the incident."

Kun appeared from the door labelled 'staff only', smiling when he spotted her standing by the door. He gestured her over and gave her a plain new apron, which she raised an eyebrow at.

"Your previous one was ruined by the blood stains. I ordered a new one for you, hope you like it."

"Thanks," she mumbled and took the apron, flipping it around to check on the design.
"How did you know I like snoopy?"

Kun scratched his nape at her question, pointing at her bag. "I had a feeling you did like it, since your keyring was a snoopy."

You still couldn't remember me even though your memories had gone back to a few years ago.

Yoonna nodded, putting on the apron to try it. It fits her perfectly, and she was quite grateful that Kun had gotten the right size.

"What am I supposed to do?"

"Since Hendery will be here in a few, how about trying to get familiar with the counter until he comes back?"
Kun suggested and Yoonna did as told, scanning the machines around the counter and reading through the menu.

"Kun ge, I'm back. Oh, hello Yoonna."

Hendery greeted when he saw the unexpected girl busy herself at the counter reading the machines' manual. Yoonna gave him a wave as the boy disappeared into the staff room before coming out with an apron over him.

"Do you still remember how to function it?"

Hendery asked as he watched her inspect the coffee machine. Yoonna shook her head, still engrossed in checking out the buttons and Hendery sighed in disappointment.

"I guess your temporary memory loss is quite serious. Here, let me teach you."

"Why is everyone saying that I have memory loss?"

Yoonna rolled her eyes in annoyance when she caught Hendery giving her a pity glance. She knew she had poor memory and couldn't remember too many details other than bigger events, but that doesn't mean she necessarily lost her memories.

"Well, how about I let you try to make a cup of cappuccino or a latte, then we will see?"

Hendery suggested, assuming that these two beverages were her favourites since he always saw her sipping on one of them during working hours to keep her awake. Sometimes, she would take away one cup of espresso from the café after her shift.

"Fine," Yoonna gave in, standing in front of the machine after Hendery gestured for her to go ahead and he stepped aside. Yoonna scanned the equipment placed beside it, unsure of which to start from.

"You would need to add the coffee beans first since this machine is new. Kun ge just bought it a few days ago."

Hendery hinted at her and she did as he said, opening the package of beans and scooping some using a cup she took out of instinct.

"Oh wow, I thought you would just pour it in. Didn't know you remembered to use the cup," Hendery commented and Yoonna's hand stopped above the lid of the machine where she was about to pour the beans in.

"Am I not supposed to?"

She questioned in confusion. Her body had moved without her thinking for the next step right when she reached out for the cup, as if her body was being controlled and she was on autopilot mode.

"No, I mean, you were doing correctly. I was not expecting you to remember anything."

Yoonna shrugged, continued pouring the coffee beans into the machine and shut the lid close. She fixed the portafilter onto the machine, pressing on the brewing controls and let the liquid drip out of the espresso sprout into the small cup.

"What now?"

Yoonna piped after the machine beeped once, signaling the work is done and she removed the portafilter to dispose of the waste. Hendery pointed at the milk frothing pitcher sitting in the cupboard and Yoonna understood the task, filling some milk into it after rinsing it thoroughly.

"Try it without my guide?"

Hendery said when she glanced over at him, unsure if she was doing correctly. She nodded after seeing the boy wouldn't budge to help her.

The steam rushed out of the wand as she neared the pitcher to it, letting the steam stir the milk hot until it turned into forth. She then poured the forth carefully into the mug that she had transferred the coffee into, forming a cute snoopy on it.

"Not bad, it seems like your body still has the muscle memories even though your brain doesn't."

Hendery clapped as he admired the image she made, envying her talent in the coffee arts he had taken notice of the first time he watched Yoonna played around with the froth and created different characters on the customers' coffees, earning them more good reviews.

Yoonna shrugged, taking off her apron after Kun came out just in time to tell her that she could leave whenever she felt like it so that she could rest more. Hendery bid her goodbye as she stepped out of the cafe's door, feeling somehow relieved even though she didn't know why.
