Taissa's P.O.V.

"Luke, it's time for bed now. You're acting like a crazy person, and I don't want the twins to be woken up." Evan sighed, hopefully concluding Luke's rampage of post-bedtime terror. The only reason why he's still up is because it's New Years Eve.

"Fine, whatever. I'm tired anyways." Luke huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. He stomped towards the stairs. He isn't used to being up this late. Luke always went to bed on time.

"Hey, come here!" I gently demanded, "Give Mommy a kiss! I need my daily dose of Luke!" He ran towards me, and jumped right into my lap. I placed a peck on his cheek before he ran up the stairs.

"I'll be down in a minute, okay?" Evan promised. I nodded in confirmation.

I can't believe it's almost 2021. It seems as though just yesterday I was running into my soulmate at a graduation party I wasn't supposed to be at. I feel like a complete ass-hat to say this but, I'm glad Emma and Evan couldn't work things out, and that Emma gave Evan full custody of Luke. My life wouldn't be as fantastic as it is without the bitchy, selfish, and ignorant devil otherwise known as Emma, who doesn't know good people when she sees them.

Evan is currently an amazing doctor at St. Luke's Hospital (ironic, right?). Thanks to his job, the house we just moved into is big enough to fit all 5 of us. I spend most of my time painting, but I guess it's more of a hobby than a job; I rarely get paid anything. I usually just end up selling my art to family, who get the special 'family discount.' Like I said, I rarely get paid anything.

"Okay, he's in bed. Good call earlier for not giving him that soda." Evan acknowledged, breaking me out of my thoughts. He leaned down and kissed me on the lips, before plopping down next to me. "I really love this house."

"Me too," I agreed, "It's really nice." Our new home was in a great neighborhood with lots of kids for Luke, and eventually Maci and Georgia. The house is extremely modern both on the inside and the outside. It has 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, and not to mention a large kitchen where I could bake my exemplary brownies, popular among the Peters men.

"I checked on Mace and Georgie." he announced. I looked at him, hoping that they would be asleep. "Out like lights." Thank you, Jesus. Even though they were almost a year old, the twins still were shitty when it came to sleeping schedules. Both of them.

Maci and Georgia (yes, their names are from our Sims game. Evan and I just happened to love them so much) were born approximately a year a go. They're identical, so it's really hard to tell the difference between the two girls. I figure it out, though. They have my hair color, a light brown, but it's also curly, like Evan's. Maci and Georgie have basically all of my facial features: eye shape, eye color, nose, lips, face shape- almost everything. Luckily, they have Evan's adorable dimples, that they like to show off often by constantly smiling.

"Amazing," I sighed, full of relief. "Evan, I need to ask you something."

"Shoot."

"I was wondering, maybe, if I could go back to school? Once the twins go to preschool, I mean. I want to be a teacher, so I could actually do something with my art. Honestly Evan, I hate bumming around all day, taking care of the twins. I love them, with all of my heart, but I'm tired of it." I confessed, swiping the tears that had tumbled down my cheeks.

"I didn't know that's how you felt," he mumbled, looking at the ground, "If that's how you feel, go to school now." Wait- what? "I don't want you to hate your life, Tai. I want you to be happy. If we need to hire someone, we will." What was Emma thinking when she cheated on him so many times?

"I love you," I whispered, snuggling up close to my husband, the father of my 2 daughters, and my step-son.

"I more than love you, Taissa." he responded.

I don't know when, but eventually my eyes fluttered shut. I awoke hours later, to a light kiss being placed on my lips. I heard "Happy New Years, baby. I love you.", before I fell back into a deep slumber, with a faint smile plastered onto my face. That's right. He loves me.

The End.

Oh my goodness, guys. The end. After so many ups and downs between Evan and Taissa, this is the very end of Love Me. I'm so sad to see it end, but I already have another book plan in mind. I'm probably going to do some major editing here first, though.

The next one, which isn't a sequel, revolves around Evan. I'm not sure on the name yet, but it'll come to me. The first chapter might be published mid-July to early August, so y'all might have to be patient.

Thank you all so much for your support,

Sami
