Chapter 6 Welcome To Your New Home

After the unusual morning at Scarlett's house, Morgana and Patience headed back to the Shaman house to put her things away in the room she would be using from now on. Then their next stop was the home of the tribal leader to arrange for the help offered by Morgana not just minutes before.

Entering the house they headed to the back room, then up the few steps that led to the top floor, taking a left to the west side of the house, which was the spare bedroom. Edwena's old room now turned Patience new room. They placed her one small satchel upon the bed, then Morgana headed down leaving sweet Patience to unpack while she checked the bag they would carry for this day.

As soon as the bag was checked, Morgana exited the house to check for messages by the front door to see if any had come inthis is where most people in the village left her messages when she was not at homethen she headed to the kitchen to make tea and sat with a cup in hand waiting on her new assistant. She was very happy with herself indeed.

Patience strolled down the steps as if on a pocket of air, happier than Morgana had ever seen her before. A smile on her face, she headed for the small stove by the door to pour herself a cup of herbal tea and sat down with Morgana to chat a spell.

“My my ya look so happy now compared to earlier this morn. I am glad I could put that smile back on ya face.” She giggled.

“I am happy to be here with ya. I have always wondered what it must be like to be a shaman and do all the good thing that ya do.” She gushed out.

“I guess ya will soon find out it is not all that pretty...” Morgana paused taking a sit of her herbal tea before finishing what she was saying. “Like working with sick people and animals. But I guess it is kind of nice really; I do love it myself.” Morgana smiled to herself leaning back in her chair looking up at her light blue ceiling lost in a fog for a moment. “Well drink up we have people to go see, My Dear.”

After placing they dishes into the sink they headed out of the house by the rear door, then turned right to head next door to the Tribal Leaders house. Marissa's. Knocking upon the door they both waited for an answer. She answered shortly there after knocking. Must have been in the kitchen. They all bowed to each other. “Welcome Morgana, Patience. Please come in, I have tea on would ya both like a cup?”

“That would be nice. We have matters to discuss if ya please.” Morgan replied.

“Then we will take it to the sitting area, make ya selves comfortable I will get the tea.” She left toward the kitchen as Morgana led Patience to the living room by the warm glow of the fireplace. A small fire was just flickering in the fireplace glowing red and yellow. The living room was small, but comfortable, dark wood floors, one couch covered in mid-western designs with dark wood accents, a stuffed chair to match, three side tables in dark oak wood, and several candle lamps here and there, with a lamp by the big stuffed chair to read by. Many painting sat along the walls, pictures of long ago people and village life.

They both sat on the couch leaving the stuffed chair for Marissa. She entered the room minutes later carrying a try loaded down with teapot and three teacups on matching tea plates. “I have ya favorite tea Morgana, Lavender Mint tea.” Marissa told her as she set the try on the side table to Morgana's right and began poring out the tea for everyone. After handing everyone their cups and sitting down she asked. “Now how may I help ya this beautiful day?”
