NARRATOR
"Wanda, are you okay?" Wanda wiped her tears and nodded at Maria. Maria sat next to Wanda and rubbed her back comfortingly. "You can talk to me about it. She's busy cooking." Wanda sighed.
"I just got emotional over something," Wanda explained.
"Is it about Y/n?" Wanda took a while before nodding.
"It just feels like she took me out of the dark place I was in. She saved me, and I'm really thankful for that," Wanda explained.
Maria sat beside Wanda and offered her a hug. "You might not know it, but you saved Y/n too." Wanda nodded. She sat up straight, wiping her tears away.
After a while, Y/n called them for lunch. They talked about random things with Maria occasionally teasing Y/n making her blush. After their meal was done, Maria ushered the two out of the dining area/kitchen as she washed the dishes they used.
Wanda and Y/n took their seats on the couch in the living room and watched something. When Maria came out from the kitchen, she voiced her thoughts about having a movie marathon that night. The two agreed. With that agreed upon by the three, Maria set out to buy foods for the night.
"Did you cry before lunch?" Y/n asked out of the blue.
"What? No, I didn't."
"Don't lie to me. I know you did." Y/n's voice was gentle, making Wanda just a bit more emotional than this morning. "I didn't see you or anything, don't worry. I just..." Y/n paused and looked at her hands before looking back up at Wanda. "Why?" Wanda shook her head and sighed. "It's nothing important. I just realized something and it made me cry," Wanda explained. Y/n kept her eyes on Wanda, like she's reading her. "If you say so."
Night came and as what they all agreed upon, they watched movies. All three of them sat on the long couch, with Y/n in the middle. They all held a can of beer and Y/n was the one holding the bowl of the junk foods that they mixed as she's the one who's in the middle. Wanda's munching on a slice of pizza, not taking her eyes off the TV.
Empty cans of beer, Y/n's bowl of mixed junk food, and the box of pizza with a few slices left littered the table when they started their third movie of the night.
Almost half an hour through the movie, Y/n felt Wanda's body lean on her. She looked at the Sokovian who's starting to drift off to sleep. "Maria, could you get me a blanket please? Someone's already asleep," Y/n whispered as to not wake the Sokovian. Maria grabbed a blanket from her room and helped Y/n to cover Wanda up.
Maria and Y/n finished the movie before calling it a night. The older woman cleaned up the mess before retiring herself to her room. Y/n decided to stay behind, not wanting go wake the snoring witch up. Y/n gently moved herself further into the other side of the couch so that Wanda could lie down with her head on Y/NBC's lap. Y/n fell asleep sitting not long after.
The next day, Wanda woke up with the smell of waffles and hot chocolate. She saw two sets of the breakfast menu that morning. "Good morning, sleepyhead." She turned her head and saw a smiling Y/n looking at her, a book in her hand. Wanda sat up and stretches before looking back up at Y/n and smiled.
"Good morning," she greeted back.
"Maria walked in from the kitchen and exchanged greeting with Wanda before turning to Y/n. "How are your feet?" Maria asked, unaware of the fact that Y/n is playing it cool as to not worry Wanda.
