Burt: Roses and Guitars was our debut, wasn't it?

me: Yeah.

Burt: We wrote it because Sammy was in her senior year of high school and she was leaving a lot of things behind.

me: It's also a tribute to the Sam and Murray ship in my stories. It had just ended by the time Burt and I started singing. So the song is about the characters' divorce.

Burt: Yeah, but I don't get why we called it Roses and Guitars.

me: The flower the Wiggles typically associate themselves with is roses.

Burt: Oh that's right.

me: Do I even need to explain the guitar part?

Burt: *laughs* I guess not.

me: If there's a song you'd like us to explain, please leave a comment and we'll see to it that it's explained.
